So my flight to Tokyo blows an engine shortly after takeoff and I'm stuck for the night in detroit.
Want to play poker at a downtown casino all night. Best way to get there from airport? Best one to play at? Will my mlife card from Vegas work at MGM? Any Caesars properties?
Any help appreciated, otherwise I'm stuck at airport hotel with jack shit to do
Caesars is in Windsor, across the river. Haven't been in years.
MGM is the best in Detroit. I-94 from airport to nearly its front door. You're about 20 minutes away. I'm not sure if your card will work.
For poker your only real choice is Motor City Casino. MGM and Greektown are available but they not many people play in those rooms.

The casino is a good 20 miles away from the Airport. You can type in DTW for directions on that link above. They may have some shuttle type service to maybe get you there but I'm not sure so just ask around the airport.
MGM is the nicest casino but not for action in the poker room.
I'm sure Beer and Poker is 100% right about the action, but MGM is so much nicer.
On the bright side, they are within a mile of each other. Definitely take a cab if you casino hop, though, or you'll die.

Getting your wife outa that airport was one thing, but the shit about your wife being so thankful about her life and that she now knows what the poor homeless folk have to go through is what got my goat..
