Looks around the same amount as the Full Tilt player shortfall.
follows that tweet from yesterday up with this one
uumm blue pill ivey you fucking scumbag....fuck ivey I don't get how people like this asshole
I don't watch much tv nancy boy
Ivey is a massive twat. He was 'the face' and major shareholder of FTP and imo got off way too lightly in the whole aftermath..
Was partly his status in the game that got him that walk.
As for Billion or bring back someone from the dead..It's not even close - I'd take the cash and buy my football club. Infact I'd seriously give my own life if I could get to divi the cash out before departing.
I hate to disappoint you guys, but Ivey likely didn't post that.
Ivey's Twitter is run by one of his assistants. That's why Ivey follows tens of thousands of poker players, as the operator of that account felt it would be good PR to do so. Actually pretty smart move. Imagine if more "celebrities" did this, rather than following a select few hundred people.
Ivey does have access his own Twitter and uses it sometimes, but most of the stuff you see from it comes from his ghost writer.
You must not have noticed the mass unfollow undertaking. He was following like 60,000 people (myself included!), but now he's back down to about 500.
It was probably just a ploy to gain more followers. A common tactic is to follow a huge number of people, then a certain percentage of them will follow you back, then you unfollow everyone. Rinse and repeat. That's why you often see relative nobodies with large followings and also why they often have a 1:1 ratio in the tens of thousands.
There used to be software to automate this process, but Twitter has cracked down on people following/unfollowing too frequently.
