I bought it awhile back thinking about exactly what fan duel and draft kings is doing right now. Too late now . I wonder what it is worth. I think i bought it for like 5k . Rolled?

If anyone has any bright ideas pm me and you can run with it.

It is not too late. Draftkings just bought Draftstreet and are probably going to buy more smaller sites.

Create something unique that other sites do not have and come up with a good go to market plan.

I was thinking maybe a site that was completely free and you could win prizes as opposed to money (mobile focused). Build up a player pool than sell. However, I have a feeling the backend data feeds for real time stats is expensive as hell but who knows.

It seems like the perfect domain for it. Or maybe even try to white label one of the existing successful sites.

Burgeoning industry that is currently consolidating. There used to be many small competitors but now the couple big ones (Draftkings/fanduel) are buying them out. Essentially are the PS/FTP of the space. Create something unique they are too big to compete with for a small start-up, and are backed by massive venture capital/hedge fund money.

The free for prizes idea is good, mobile good, also the space is actually loaded with poker players. They tend to make the transition fast and well because the game is similar in lots of ways. So focusing maybe on like offering Live poker event buy ins as prizes for winning some sort of Daily fantasy contest is probably a way to draw a large user base faster. Adds EV for them etc etc..

One more thing, very important. This is the time of year to float something like this because NFL is kicking off, then NBA in October, NHL in November as well as College Hoops. Between NBA/NHL/NFL/College hoops (CBB) you have a quarter of your annual year that is hands down going to generate the largest portion of your net-revenue. The slowest time of year is mid June thru beginning of September because all that is going is MLB. MLB is a big interest sport as well, but can't compete with the months all the sports crossover, as do the NHL/NBA/NFL/CBB from ~Oct-March.

Lots more to go on etc etc, but thats all really useful stuff.

    Take it home cmoney!

Fantasydraft.net is not a gambling site.

Wait for the inevitable episode of fraud and DOJ crackdown driven by governments quest to tax this industry.

Fantasydraft.net will be sold for an undisclosed amount.

The Wormhole doesn't always know why but is always right.
