I like VLC better for playing movies (being able to boost the volume up to 200% is great, plus it is less finicky about semi-corrupt videos), and Winamp for audio.
Everything about iTunes sucks. Horrible program, and surprisingly user-unfriendly for something created by Apple.

I haven't ready any of the responses but did anyone mention this cool software by Apple called Itunes? I heard it's a one stop shop for awesome movies, tv, music, and podcasts and it has a really easy to use interface.
