Online pros are generally big pussies.cates is owed a lot of money, viffer owes him a fortune through cross booking dwan in their challenge. In fact told by cates that he has to pay up, viffers response was " go fuck yourself"
Maybe some heavies offered their services to cates, maybe they bought his debts
Giggling at thought of dwan being hung from his feet outside his balcony

The first time I met Jungleman, I was accompanying Zac to a meeting with him at Aria. I was told to wait outside the poker room while they talked.
Later, Zac told me that someone owed Jungle 7-figures, and he was negotiating a commission to collect the debt for him. I didn't ask how he intended to collect that debt, but I imagine the plan wasn't to very politely ask for it. Kinda sounded like a bunch of bullshit at the time, but now...
I was once offered a job collecting debts for a pretty well known Bay Area casino, its not exactly a gig you hire hitmen for, considering dead people dont pay debts. I expect the 'hitmen' being referenced here are basically in similar positions. Eg, not hitmen, just freelance debt collectors.
"Birds born in a cage think flying is an illness." - Alejandro Jodorowsky
"America is not so much a nightmare as a non-dream. The American non-dream is precisely a move to wipe the dream out of existence. The dream is a spontaneous happening and therefore dangerous to a control system set up by the non-dreamers." -- William S. Burroughs
Hiring someone to collect a debt for you is not a "hit man"
I wouldn't be surprised if he hired someone to collect debts for him if they were severely delinquent. It also fits into his personality to make loans he really shouldn't, and be mad when they are not paid back.
The guy has a temper, which is amazing for someone who is so successful at high stakes poker. A guy who played in Bobby's Room with him over the summer stated that he got himself banned from the game for the summer by smashing a wine bottle on the table.
But what does DOGISHEAD have to think about all of this?
Jungleman threatened to punch me in the face on 2+2 when I was questioning his involvement in the Dogishead/Girah fiasco.
Oh druff, nothing personal buddy, ok
Here is Jungle's response:

It does seem that Noah Boeken, who leveled the accusation (and whose first language isn't English), used the term "hitman" incorrectly. However, it does appear that someone Noah knows was intimidated by a heavy/tough guy regarding a debt owed to Jungleman, and at the very least, Jungleman verified that it happened (though claims he had nothing to do with it).

Noah goes way back to the very early days of Pokerstars. In my personal interactions with him, he seemed like a nice guy and isn't frequently embroiled in drama.
Noah would not of confused the term "hitman" with anything other than a hired killer. Not a chance
My visits to the Netherlands have yet to encounter anyone who doesn't speak almost perfect English. And with Noah being on the circuit and mostly using English to communicate for the last 10+ years.....He will 100% know the difference between hitman & debt collector.
In fact, if he didn't know the difference before leaving school. He soon would've picked it up after the first few English speaking gangster movies he seen.
Also don't believe for a second that Jungle hired a hitman. Just think Noah 'purposefully' exaggerated the term used for a debt collector.
