you have heard the words donk and fish when talking about a poker player. thier are no such thing.thiers books out thier that teach everyone to become a winner.to be in that elite 5 percent you must have the personality for the game. myself i show respect to all players.very few of you can become a pro and iam sure few of you want to be.most have good educations and will take jobs with benifits or become lawyers.what iam talking about is the young man with a 5k bankroll and wants to see if he can make it in this field playing 10-20 15-30 and 20-40.

this is nothing to laugh at. his gold is to make 75k a year playing 40 to 50 hours aweek.50k with expences would be great also. this is were the personality for the game comes in. also the lack thier are of it.for the time you play your 10 hours you mind has to be on the players. thier class on the poker table will come out.once you know them you can take thier money wondering what happen to the books they read.

WITH NO JOBS OUT THIER A YOUNG MAN UP TO THIRTY MAY WANT TO TRY IT.MOST DONT KNOW THAT NO LIMIT IS A GAME FOR SUCKERS AND IT CAN BREAK YOU VERY EASY.

this was a hof thread if only you players could understand it.session wins in a row are what your after loss you have looking for will come. but because you keen it should be a small loss.the loses will come but make them very small like 500. . i was thier 14 days last trip and played 10-20 stud i won 14 sessions in a row then came home to delaware.like i won 1600 after expence for 2 weeks that was 140 hours of play very relaxing 2 weeks. playing by rules are very hard. when your session is over you get a nicr dinner and back to your cheap ass weekly motel room and watch tv and think about the game that you played today. 29 more days

If you want to "make it" playing 10-20 to 20-40, you better have a bankroll bigger than 5k. What sends most decent players to the rail is their failure to realize that you can run really bad for a really long time. Most young players have never experienced it. They think they are so good, it will never happen. Play long enough and it will happen. 5k is not enough to withstand the standard deviation at these limits.

but iam talking about session win.i dont believe in varience i think you make them.yes you will lose at times but they should be small and still show a profit by the end of the week.if you take a loss 75 percent of the time that if you study the day you will find you made the varience good or bad. live play is very boring. remember theres no drinking for those 30 days its just play your game have dinner and go to your motel watch tv make notes on your days play get up next day and get back to the casino by 12 noon. if you win every day from the 15 day to the 20 day most will start to break down.they will find they dont like most of the players and dont want them in thier life.in that month you will start to think the dream just costs to much mentilty.if you make the 30 days i would tell you to go home and take a week off. then we will be off to somewere else for another 30 day. trouble is most all i would say 60 percent wont return even if they made 6k for the month. they would rather get a job that give benifits. if you have a wife and kids i doubt you will make it for the 30 days. i know all about those 30 days thats how i played before some of you were born. in limit play you have alot of control. in no limit your never a winner until you leave the table.i think its a suckers game the luck factor can break you at any time.i doubt i could win 4 sessions in a row but i know i could lose 4 sessions in a row. i will leave that game to the gamblers.and it is a game with a ton of varience

i payed dearly to become a winning player. i had bad habits also but no drugs but i did like to drink and at 22 things were different in vegas they were plenty of womon from 35 dollors up.and of course i tryed to get them all.this shit lasted about 15 years. once i made the rules even that i hated them i started to become a constant winner. then once i added session wins my game got to be hard to beat. makeing a thousand a week became very easy. my wife stayed in delaware and i would send her that every week for 3 weeks then on the last week i would leave and bring the rest home with me. take a week off and go back for another 30 days. i dreaded going back to the motel at nite if it was still daylight.i was raiseing my grandaughter and she was 3 who i missed a great deal.in 3 months we had a little over 15k plus the bills all paid.so instead of a week i wanted a month off.doing it right is not much fun.i might have played 7 months out of the year. the motel beat me and after 2 weeks the loneliness started to sit in. its not easy becuase you do alot of thinking. now my back and hips are messed up andi cant play the time needed plus i got doctor appionta every week. i hope i can start back playing the first of the year. then it will be back to sessions won should be able to win 17 out of twenty.which is aceptible.now remember sessions is the key to a winning game. and trying to make something happen because of bordom wont work.only member that has a prayer of winning for sessions won in a row is druff no other member has a prayer. china would get to bord and might win more money in 20 sessions but he wont do it in a row

10-20 is druff able to ajust his game at those smaller limits or see flops he would not see at 1-2 hundred?? i think druff has been a session player for years now.

i got tyde to play live and he went thier and win 6 sessions in a row.he could have played 10-20 limit and would have kept winning. but his game is no limit so 6 in a row is very good. tyde 2 2 is a thow away hand in no limit not a 54k hand bad play very bad play. you still hold the record for top 3 finishes in the 180 man sit and go plus most wins for a month when playing for china. one thing you never know what you have if you make the big bet.the more you bet the less you have have 40 percent of the time. so you can get 3 way action and have the nuts. you cant be read.

no i won 38 sessions in a row and close to 30k.back in the day poker players wore gold chains and diamond rings. i wore 5 and a half carets of diamonds in my 2 rings. i soon found this was costing me money. so i changed to just sterling silver and just one ring.i have played with many rocks like myself and still would win something. playing. when i won 14 sessions in a row i was at the trop in alantic city and i was only thier for 14 days and played stud only and just at the trop.i played in martland for 3 years won 2300 in a 5-10 hi lo game against the best they had over thier. i also won 18k in 3 months playing 10-20 i played 4 days aweek. i was thier along time before i took my first loss of 280 dollors. next day i won 940 dollors. when i lost that 280 i was in shock. and mad at myself. limit poker iam a hudge winner life. but my back has stop me for over a year.

Assuming you played 10 hours per day, 14 days in a row, factoring in appropriate wage and hour issues including OT, you would have made about $9.41/hr if you had a real job instead.

never looked at it that way. but iam sure your right.i also have never reached a 100k in a year but i have been close a few times just never got thier.dam expence was close to 100 aday plus time. your stuck 50k a year in expence. you pay that time win or lose.so i guess in a way i made over 100k but only got home with 60 to 87k that i could spend at home.also had a few in the thirtys years. putting in a avg of 40 hours. then i learned about football. that was easy money. i bet 1k a game on 3 pre seasons and won every game. could not wait for the season to start. well i lost 27k the first 5 weeks. fuck that game.after i deducked my football career i made a little over 5k for the year. but i stoped betting on football
