Well we're to blame for this trouble in Iraq right now.

You see in 1972 we pulled out of Vietnam and left a well equipped amry to defend themselves. Problem was they turned out to be cowards which is exactly what has happened in Iraq. Same thing will happen in Afganistan when we leave.

So what's the answer. Either go back in in full force or do nothing. This ''drop a few bombs on them'' just isn't going to work as to get rid of these f#ckers will require ''boots on the ground.''

Or do nothing.

Thing is either way these idiots in congress will argue over and over about it. Biggest mistake was not having a good plan when we went in there in 2003. Same thing in Vietnam as there was no plan on what we'd do in the long run.

Americans are fools as they want to watch their war on TV while eating dinner and then have it be over in a half hour. And then go to bed. And that just isn't going to work. Especially the way we fight a war. Take the Spartans who went to war. Every man, women, and child was put to death and then they moved on. Sounds harsh I know but to win a war that's what you have to do.

Still unsure why Tony Blair was so keen to get the UK involved considering all the major contracts following the aftermath went to the Americans.

But the worlds media hung on his every word during that time - and he absolutely thrived on it.

Makes me want to puke thinking back to all the grandstanding Blair done in the build up to Iraq because I actually bought into some of it.

War is amazing in the technological age. Giant bombs and big explosions streamed via satellite practically live to your tv. I remember the 2003 invasion staying up with a bag of chips and can of pepsi watching sll the action.

The scary thing is how weak the iraqi army actually is. Really a bunch of thugs with hand weapons can take over cities at will. The iraqi army doesn't have any aircraft?

Yes very true and shows how Jr. bush thought only of himself in the matter.

Now Obama says no troops on the ground. Well he doesn't need to as the CIA already has hundreds of special operatives in the area. These are paid mercenaires just like at the start of the Afganistan war. Rambo type guys who can take on 5 or 10 times as many as they oppose.

Now we have an argument between the Iraqis on who going to run their government. If it were up to me like I said it's either ''All-in'' or all out. Nothing inbetween is going to work.
