Now, according to sealed documents exclusively obtained by The Fix, 19-year-old Frances has taken over control of the publicity rights for the Nirvana icon’s name, likeness and appearance.

The documents show that Love agreed to step down as Acting Manager of End of Music LLC—the business entity responsible for generating cash from Cobain’s publicity rights—once she’d received a $2.75 million loan from Frances’ trust fund in 2010. The massive loan was transferred from Frances’ fund to EOM in Los Angeles, and then into an account held by Courtney’s then-lawyers, Pryor Cashman, in New York. Until Courtney pays it back, she won’t receive a dime from Kurt’s name, likeness or appearance from the deals formed by Frances and her advisers since December 2010.

Not only is her gravy train gone, she know owes her daughter $2.75 million. Only a matter of time before she overdoses I think. I'm sure TMZ will miss her.

i remember mentioning Scott Weiland and how I am amazed that he is still alive. I also believe that it is a miracle that Courtney Love is still alive.

I got to see STP about a year ago and he looked healthy. Put on a fucking awesome show. I hope he manages to stay clean because the dude is a hell of a singer.

I believe they do have a percentage of rights. I do know someone in the music industry who is close to Dave Grohl and I will ask him this weekend when I see him.

Yeah, she'll be dead soon enough. She's already a tragic figure. Kurt would be glad he didn't have to see what became of her, but I'm sure that knowledge is part of why he killed himself.
