Greatest Gambling feat I have ever witnessed.

Let me be frank here guys. I have seen it all in the gambling world. I have seen someone turn 20cents into 500 in slots. I have seen someone turn $6 into 8k at the craps table. And I have seen a women hit a bad beat jackpot at the casino, and ask for a loan 6 hours later. I have fucking seen it all.

Tonight my friends, I must say is something I have never seen in my life.

Every Tuesday I try to support my buddies homegame. It is a min $300 max $1k half NlHE/NLO. With blinds at 5-5. We play NL Omaha at his place because the dealer is an idiot, and mathematics wasn't his strongest subject in highschool.

Well about 2 hours into the game, this guy Jacob is down 1200. Upon losing his last huge pot, he had 13 white chips on the table. He was so berate that he lost the hand, that he simply went on a mission. An hour went by and his $13 is still sitting next to the rail. I tried calling his a bunch of times, to see if he just wanted me to get his $13 for him. It wasn't until another hour later that Jacob actually came back in demanding to "deal him the fuck in." We all laughed at this because he only had $13 left. Wtf was he going to do with $13? No one would ever lend his a dollar.

    Well little did we know.

Exactly one hour later, Mr. Jacob P. had just under $2700 in front of him. In the hour that had passed, Jacob had gone all in an amazing 11 times. Winning every single pot.

Jacob congrats to you sir. It was a well played game. We now know what a little cocaine combined with balls, can do to your poker game.

I can't believe you have never seen something similar to that...

Last month I was playing a tournament with Kevmath and he got all in at 500/1k with a 100 ante with KK against AJ, he lost the pot and had the guy covered by 1 100 chip ante... From there he won 5 All Ins in a row hitting miracle after miracle, then went on a rush and ran it up to like 200k, then he made the money and started steamrolling. with 21 left he had like 400k and ran his KK in to AJ again to bust

Ehhh, I don't really buy that logic, First place paid more than what was probably in action in this game.

Guys coming back from one bet to score 6 figures is pretty sick, but you hear about it every so often.

I have seen some crazy shit but really nothing like this. I must say that he was high as a kite, and making folds like Allen Cunningham. At one time he had 600 in front of him, and raised $40 UTg. After two callers the cutoff raised to $150. He then minraised to $300. The Cutoff pushed all in, and our buddy Jacob folded Kings. I guess you just had to be there because so many things just went against him, but he just kept making the right decisions.

I must also say that Jacob has never won ever in poker. Never have I ever seen him cash out. So this feat is actually something I still can't believe.

Everybody that has played poker for more than two years has 5-10 similar stories.

LOL, you never hear a run up story where the person quit and went on to live a more comfortable life. It is always... ran it from nothing into a huge amount... lost huge amount.... lost more than u can afford after that...

Sorry that story dosn't impress you, but thanks for joining.

I guess what has amazed me in the hour this guy has played, is how the cocaine had turned him into a totally different player. Yes everyone has seen people turning 100 into 20k or 20 into 2k, yet you don't really know this guy. He has never won at poker. and when I say never, I mean he knows he is just donating every week.

after going broke, with everything except the $13, he simply turned into a fucking magician. Folding the 2nd nuts, folding bottom set when his stack was only $200. We have all seen people turn smal amounts into huge amouts, but in one fucking hour? I don't think so.

Yes people have been HU in a tournament and came back from being a 20-1 dog. That is heads up though. this was a full table. $13 to $2700 isnt impressive? In an hour?

    I beg to differ.

sounds like a guy who has no clue what he's doing making bad folds that just happened to be correct, its luck and variance. Yeah, turning 13 into 2700 in an hour is impressive but like others have said, if you gamble a lot youve seen it before and it doesnt sound like he did it on skill that came on from doing weed an coke, sounds like he made a couple of stupid folds that happened to be right at that time and a lot of run good. Folding kings pre after putting in 30 bb's and only having 90 more behind seems terrible unless that other guy is just a super ridiculous nit. Folding bottom set with 40 bb's, what was the board? Only a couple of ridiculous scenarios that folding a set for a few bb's makes any sense.

yeah, he described NLHE hands, not omaha, the game they were playing was NLHE/NLO, right? I didnt see any omaha hands described. He is describing miraculous coke induced soul reads, not an easy omaha fold.

    Severely disappointing.

I actually clicked on this thread expecting to read something awesome and instead we get a story of "This guy was almost bust with just above 2BBs but then he went on a heater and won money."
