This could be prevented if they stationed guards right at all of the exits, but I just don't think it's a priority.

$50,000 is nothing to a huge casino like Bellagio.

Except this guy was an "armed robber", pretty sure casino security are unarmed, and are not even allowed to interfere with a guy wheeling a gun running out the door. That is what the cameras are for.

Also LOL at this guys tattooed eyebrows...

The suspect arrested in an armed robbery at the Bellagio casino has been identified as a 34-year-old Kansas man with a criminal record who skipped out on his parole in May.

The Clark County Detention Center's website identified him Tuesday as Scott A. Carmitchel after he made an initial court appearance and his bail was set at $84,000.

Detectives say the man they originally identified as "John Doe" robbed a casino cashier of $43,500 at gunpoint Friday night and later paid prostitutes at another hotel with money still bound in Bellagio wrappers. He was arrested Saturday night.

Kansas Department of Corrections records show Carmitchel served time for battery against a law officer and a robbery in 1998, and he was sent to prison last year for making a criminal threat.

He was paroled in December and the department listed him as "absconded" with his whereabouts unknown as of May 29.
