Tootie and Blair reuniting on TV this Saturday

    http://www.cnn.com/2014/07/21/showbi...ion/index.html

They will be in some fail TV movie called "For Better For Worse" on the Hallmark Channel.

Get Jo and Natalie on board, and maybe I'll watch.

Also does anyone remember that Molly Ringwald was on the first season of the show and got fired (along with most of the cast)?

Oh, and they attempted to spin off the show at the end (in the final episode) by having Blair buy Eastland Prep, and 3 of the students were played by Seth Green, Juliette Lewis, and Mayim Bialik. The networks weren't interested, though, so that season finale was indeed the end. This was actually one of SEVEN attempted spinoffs of the show, all of which never got picked up.

And The Facts of Life itself was a spinoff of Diff'rent Strokes.

Amazingly, Mrs. Garrett, who seemed so old when she was on Diff'rent Strokes in the late '70s, is still alive today (she's 88).

Oh and this was like the best TV movie ever, at least to a 13-year-old in 1985:

You got to see Jo and Alex P. Keaton make out, back when Michael J. Fox wasn't yet Marty McFly (that would come out a few months later).

Seriously, I went to camp in the mid-80s, and the depictions in that movie weren't too far from the truth.

My best friend and I watched this at the time and thought it was the best thing we had seen since Weird Science.

    Much better choices, imo:

Begs the question how the hell this came up on your radar.

Are you actually reviewing the Hallmark channel schedule or have a Kim Fields google alert.

My wife and I usually have dinner shake hands and retire to different televisions just to avoid the potential that I might see the Hallmark channel or the fucking Bachelor.
