Just season 1 so far but it's got me thinking of firing up HBO Go and tearing through... Season 3?

"You run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole; you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole."
I think you're on the money. I never got through season 4.
"You run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole; you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole."
I don't understand what story they are going to tell with a movie, which was a go last time I checked.
In the first 3 seasons, they showed Vince climbing, on a plateau, sky rocketing, crashing and then starting to climb. I know they repeated that for 8 seasons. I don't think there's been this big of a money grab disguised as cinema since Godfather 3.
Godfather 3 at least had a lot more built up good will going into it.
Is anyone really excited for an Entourage movie?
What, Ari has to get his wife back yet again after coming out of retirement to run a movie studio?
What they need to do is bring back Emily. I forgot about her.

OK, just watched first episode of season 1 on HBO Go. The funny thing about Entourage is how funny it tries to be. There aren't many laugh out loud moments yet people consistently talked about what a funny show it was. Ari was truly comedy Gold though and that goes a long way. Big cameo this episode was Mark Wahlberg (obv). No nudity.
Quickly looking at the shows Wiki page I learned the following:
The real life dude who inspired Turtle died in 2005 after an asthma attack.
The show was nominated for 18 Emmy awards in various categories and won an additional 6 (3 to Jeremy Piven for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series and 3 for Sound Mixing).
"You run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole; you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole."
The first few seasons were good, then it was okay until season 6 but the last two seasons were just dreadful. If people still watched then I can't blame HBO for milking the show for as much as possible but it's been too long in between for the movie that I can see it being a flop especially when who knows what they shelled out to make the movie since many of the actors kept wanting more and more.
Only reason to watch past season 2:
Without Ari Gold the show is shit. Plus he gave us one of the best smilies ever.

The hair plugs helped Jeremy Piven out immensely. I doubt his career would have ever gone anywhere if he hadn't done it.
