JRB arrested at Bellagio valet, car towed financial charges

    Randy Dorfman @RandyDorfman · 13m

Guess no tweets from @BrokeLivingJRB as he was arrested at Bellagio Valet yesterday along with car towed.
Charges are expired license plates (LOL) and "unlawful acts financial responsibility"

They gave him bail on the plates (15,700) and nothing on the other charge.

What in the fuck is going on here? I always laugh at jurisdictions that lock people up for traffic shit like plates or suspended license or something. Where I live they laugh at that shit and send you on your way, they aint got time for that nonsense. Now the other crime seems to be more serious, but no bail on it so probably some bullshit as well.

Find something better to do pigs, go eat a fucking doughnut.

Yet when you call cops for a real crime (unless there is a gun involved) nothing happens. They are too busy camping out on freeways writing chicken shit tickets.

I had my car broken into the other day, window smashed. It didnt even occur to me to call the police. Why? Because this has happened to me before and I waited two hours for a cop to show up. When they did, I could tell they were going to do absolutely nothing about it and didnt give a fuck.

In Las Vegas they make getting your plates switched a big deal -- it is nice revenue squeeze tax for moving here. A lot of people also drop a dime on other people they are pissed at. I totally disagree with this new resident squeeze, but in JRB's case he has probably kept a car here or been a LV resident for years and has no excuse for not taking care of ordering some new plates.

P.S I have never heard about anyone getting arrested over it. Maybe he threw a shit fit when they tried to tow his car.

I get that if he is pulled over, but it actually sounds as they used resources to track him down for this. If that is the case, it is beyond retarded.

JBR not having a good week. IF being one of the first to bust out of the one drop wasnt bad enough

Exactly...they got word he was at the casino and came to find him, not like he got pulled over and this shit popped up or whatever.

So apparently the second charge is for not having insurance or something related. Are you fucking kidding me?

I could get caught with an 8 ball of coke where I live and get a lower bail.

License to tattletale: Fines, court possible if vehicle isn’t registered in time, someone turns it in

    By Erin Dostal
    Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010 | 2 a.m.

"If you’re new to Nevada, watch out for the neighborhood snitches. They’re out there, turning you in.

More than 3,500 people have called Las Vegas Constable Robert “Bobby G” Gronauer’s office in the past month and a half to tattle on neighbors who have been driving cars with out-of-state license plates for way too long.

And some of the old-timers are doing their job with quiet glee: If I’ve got to pay a Nevada license fee, these Nevada newbies have to pay their fair share too!"

I knew something didn't look right when Xfactor posted this pic the other day. JRB has tweeted a pic of this car in the past so I'm fairly sure it's not a shop. Do they not put month and year stickers on the tags in Nevada?

I have heard he has been having a real tough time lately. JRB ran up a huge roll in Dan Blitz high roller home games. Dan was not too pleased about this because he had lost 1.7 million backing JRB. JRB then buys into the One Drop. Then JRB goes on a huge downswing and is desperate to sell more of himself in the One Drop. JRB even asks Dan Blitz to buy 5% and Dan just laughs his ass off.

A 100k hand JRB lost lately went something like this:

    JRB Qh Jh
    Other guy 5 5

    Board: 2h 3 5h 8

So JRB has the Flush and the other guy has a set. The agree to run the river THREE times.

    River 1: 8
    River 2: 5
    River 3: 8

    JRB loses all three runs.

We have month on left, and year on right to tell when tags expire. Can't imagine there shouldn't be something there, but still how in the fuck do you get arrested/charged for this shit.

They will crucify your ass in Alabama for not having insurance. My biggest gripe is that if you don't have insurance it is probably because you can't afford it. The state fining you is not going to help you get insurance. To me it runs the same as putting a man in county jail for not paying child support because he isn't going to be earning anything while locked up.

I actually called because i was stupid and left something of value in the car. So I thought at least they would put the item in their database ifit every showed up at a pawn shop or whatever.

I called back weeks later and the item never got reported. btw, the only reason i called was I could tell the cop didnt give a fuck and wanted to leave the scene asap. He didnt even write anything down when i told him the details of the stolen property.

The majority of states do it this way, especially the right-leaning ones (because they are so hard for cash they lost giving tax breaks to <insert lobbying firm here>).

Insurance is one of the reasons I don't have a car; not only can I not afford it in Boston, it also is a racket because more often than not, the companies fight tooth and nail to not payout claims. Why should I give some middle man money for a service that won't cover the majority of the costs?

Not only is JRB being treated like a black man, according to his arrest record, he is black.

I got pulled over in Vegas and the cop told me point blank that the state was broke and enforcing bullshit traffic fines is totally necessary for them to stay above water. In the face of that kind of honesty its hard to get salty.
