It was a Polish error and not the referee giving them a goal.
Player wanted to return and put his hand up. Referee gave him permission well before the back pass. In fact it was touched twice by a Polish player and once by a Senegalese player before the goal.

If a senagelese player played the ball forward to the returning player he would have clearly been offside.. .Senegal and Japan are pretty good. Senegal has a bit of a golden generation and Japan has some excellent players.
The Russians are showing up, luls at them being 70 something in FIFA rankings ... the true test will be how they play vs Uruguay. Not much competition so far.
