But I've found some of the porn star interviews on Howard quite fascinating... kind of the same thing that intrigues us about human wreckage on the side of the road. You're getting a glimpse into a base and seedy side of human life, and for a while (if it's done well), you're captivated by it. Not so much the Butt Bongo type of shows - those bore me... but when real questions are asked and something extremely strange and personal is shared, it can be very good radio.

Howard Stern is the greatest radio innovator ever. IMO, the guy is a genius who consistently broadcasts side-splitting, interesting shows.

However, there is a line (I hope) and Howard has crossed it in the past. Years ago, he interviewed a regular female (sex industry I believe) guest post mortem by directing his questions to a small box (which he rattled) containing her bone fragments left after cremation. It was morbidly bad radio.
