I think there are too many events with small fields that one of these 2 clowns could bink.

There are, but the big question is whether they together have a 50% chance of doing so if they play every one of these small field events. I think it's close to 50%, but I still think it could be a +EV bet for us. It's close, though.

I have to disagree that it is close, I would say you can pick any 2 players in the world and they would be a dog to win a bracelet in any given year, Poker is a lot tougher then it has ever been so past results don't mean much, Even if you put Ivey in a sit n go with 9 donks he will lose a good amount of the time, In short its fucking hard to win any tournament. This bet has to be +EV year after year.

But first... how do you think PAYMENT will work if we win?... I have no doubt Todd would do his best to collect the debt -- and distribute the winnings -- in a timely manner. But how long do you think Todd is going to have to wait for Negreanu to ship him the $5k or whatever? What is a reasonable amount of time for something of this magnitude (Negreanu will likely owe many many people, no?)? Any chance of Negreanu assigning this debt to his buddy Erick Lindgren, for a fee?

Yeah. I think it's pretty close now, and may be slightly +EV, but certainly not the slam dunk I originally thought it was. I think I'm gonna pass.
