I don't think they are allowed to make deals like that (publicly) and I am sure that would nullify the bet. I think Larry Flynt tried to buy a bracelet that way.

I cant recall properly but I think WPT had strict rules against making deals and enforced it by making sure the players were always accompanied when away from the table.
