the late, late, late registration does really suck
the late, late, late registration does really suck
There are two way you can handle this. I will give you actual good advice because I like you.
The first is just to only ever buy in to tournaments during the last couple minutes of registration. The second is to just go all in ever hand pre and re enter a ton so you don't feel screwed when this happens again.
I hope that helps some bro.
I lost about $500 and wanted to withdraw my remaining amount of $89 two weeks ago...Two people told me that they would send me a cheque AND IT WOULD TAKE A FEW WEEKS TO ARRIVE....I waited two weeks and nothing came in the mail.
Today I called them again and they told me to send them ID in the form of credit card,License, and a signature on a form...I did all three and they eventually OK'd my account for withdrawl.
I tried to with withdraw the money and they said I couldn't because the MINIMUM TO WITHDRAW IS $100.
What a scam site Americas Cardroom is...They had various opportunities to tell me the truth at each stage and none of the 4-5 people including their chat people told me the truth.
It's funny how these Poker sites take your credit card immediately but when it comes to withdrawing your money they make you go through hoops...Their policy is obviously to make things difficult so people give up.
I went back and lost the money trying to get it over $100 in order to withdraw...Can you believe that?
If $89 is difficult to withdraw imagine trying to withdraw thousands...Buyer,PLAYERS BEWARE!
calm down nerd
it was prolly all just a big misunderstanding

"Birds born in a cage think flying is an illness." - Alejandro Jodorowsky
"America is not so much a nightmare as a non-dream. The American non-dream is precisely a move to wipe the dream out of existence. The dream is a spontaneous happening and therefore dangerous to a control system set up by the non-dreamers." -- William S. Burroughs
I play on there all the time and like many sites still serving Americans it can be a hassle the first time you cashout but after that it is much smoother. One problem is that it costs these sites money to cut people checks more then you might think so they usually have a limit of something like $50 to $100 most places. It is in the terms when you signup what the minimum cashout is so they cover themselves. It might seem unfair or not right but the policy is what it is, however, it don't mean the site is shady.
I have their debit card and cashout up to $2.5k each week. It costs $2 per load and each cashout is usually 1 to 2 business days. Their are some other fees to get the money out using ATM,etc... The best is to go into your bank and request the amount you want which keeps the fee down to a few bucks. I can also get a free check a month from them but that will take a few weeks.
This is the state of online poker in the USA now. Some sites are faster then others to cashout and some charge more fees to do so.
ACR CEO: “DFS Sites are Just as Unregulated as Offshore Online Poker Sites”
Americas Cardroom CEO Phil Nagy takes exception to the blind trust of daily fantasy sports players.

Run up that spin 'n go monies.
Interestingly enough, he does not have a problem with fantasy sports in general. In fact, he plans on adding fantasy sports games to his site’s offering. “First and foremost we are a poker site and our priorities reflect that, but we do plan on adding daily fantasy sports games at some point in the future.”
Pokerstars is going into DFS so obviously Phil Nagy wants to copy them.
In a way I'm extremely surprised Pokerstars hasn't already gone into the business a long time ago to continue to make money from Americans keeping their footprint in the USA in hopes for a Poker return one day.
The DFS industry needs Pokerstars to get into it anyways because they will change the game as far as the insane rake current DFS sites have. I don't care what anyone says the rake is absolutely terrible for all of these DFS sites yet people love sports so much along with being able to gamble legally so they will continue to participate.
It's also laughable a site like World Winner can continue to rape people so heavily legally on vigs for their skill games.
Obviously I'm no"beer and poker" but I cashed out twice by check..both times under a grand and got the free check in less then 3 weeks..
I truly believe that a.c.r is the best and most honest site for u.s.a player's.. they also have good customer service which answers the phone quickly and they are responsive or at least not overly arrogant..
The One Million Guaranteed is going to overlay hard today with less then $600k in the pool so far and DDOS attacks happening as well.
the BTC cashout is fantastic
now if I could only just run good on the site
I finally got on board the BTC deposit/withdrawal.
I swear withdrawal was not this easy before Black Friday.
Gotta plug LibertyX for getting loaded with BTC. Walk in with cash. Get a pin and transfer funds to your wallet. Fee is like a buck under $1000. Over $1000 it is free!
GL at tables Shizz
Da fuck is going on with ACR tonight? Anyone?
Not thread worthy and it has nothing to do with ACR....
We went to Foxwoods last night for the first time in a long while.
I ended up sitting at a 6 handed video blackjack table. Reminded of the PokerPro tables. That is what made me sit.
I was pretty lit. I won a little. Left. Then came back later.
Blackjack, of course, is the most miserable fucking social experience. The players both times were hysterical. I had a blast. I saw people doubling down on 17 (of course drawing 4). Sometimes I thought they were punting crazy plays just to show off.
Fun.
Occasionally the player would say the table froze up or did something they didn't request. I never had a problem.
They would call the floor guy over. He would lift the hood and fiddle with it. He would ask what the bet was and write out a chit for the player. I never saw such accommodation before. From Foxwoods, no less.
End of trip report.
