Haven't felt this nervous about anything in quite some time. It's all house money but it feels weird betting against the masses. But just like sportsbetting when everyone is betting one way we know what happens....

    Tesla,

After hours $316. Still 40 mins until the call.

Going to be a wild ride.

at this point looks like a hugely disappointing move for options buyers...pricing in 10% move and only got like 4-5%...

    premium down the shitter...

The gap I was looking at was between roughly 70.50 and 72. In the strictest sense the body of our candles have not filled the gap but I am going to consider the work complete here.

This is not a great spot. On the downside drilling $70, could get ugly but I have a feel. What I dislike is everyone sees the same thing.

    Took 10 contracts $72 7/27 calls 68¢. We are $70.95 with a bullet

I curse you for putting this on my radar. Lol, you claiming there is no gamble at the All Star break
Sold half at 71 last week, sold the other half today at 66.60.... apropos number for the trade.

My advice to anyone playing the market: stay away from gas, oil, gold, commodity stocks. They always suck. Just ask Pooh how much he got buried playing them.

80% of my losers come from that list. The other 20% is Biotech.

I want to know how the CEO of a Fortune 500 company can tweet that he’s going to take his company private in the middle of a trading day and stay out of jail. Can you imagine if any one of the Wall Street Banks pulled a stunt like this?

The guy is like your hyper active sales guy who crushes his sales numbers but you just know he is gonna bid some colossal fuck up that will put you into bankruptcy.

I am quite happy to gamble the other side of Musk.

That worked out nicely. All the gains are gone.

Didn’t think people would suss Musk out so quickly

Bought a small amount back today.

I think it will flutter around 370 until we know if that was all a huge bluff.

Acting like a champ on a real strong day.

Nature abhors a vacuum and the gap down to $300 will get filled someday. All gaps get filled.

The SEC will make some statement eventually and that might be the catalyst. They never act quickly though. Lol, the board members scrambling to isolate themselves from Musk.

    Lawyer up buddy.

I sold when the SEC was getting involved took a small loss.

Luckboxed into a $32-> 44 win with Canopy (WEED) . Literally bought some at 32 the day before they announced the big investment at $48.60.

Better to be lucky than good.

Back to holding a lot of cash right now. It can't keep going like this forever right? I would feel bad for others but gladly would take a 20% haircut anyday.

    WEED been your binky forever

Constellation brands news is huge for the whole segment.

Gonna have to think about a weed aid concert with John Melancamp for the independent farmers like Vegas

The best part about that Canopy deal was the Ontarian government just announced they were somewhat delaying our Weed plans. I was actually getting hyped up to post to short the weed stocks (I still think it may be a decent shot term play)

Instead of 40 stores in October, now it's going to be online only this year. The Conservative party wants to order their vices in private so no one in their congregation finds out about their weed addiction.

Next year they will allow stores and it sounds more retail. So longer term I feel it will be a big win for Canopy but in 2018 I can't see their sales looking too great.

Musk gave an interview and now it's down 7% today.

Sounds like he needs a break. Running the site at a loss causes a lot of stress.

Filling that gap quicker than I thought.

Yeah, Musk self reporting his stupidity. All I took from it was he is a lousy manager. The key to management in my experience is delegate delegate delegate. No reason for 120 hours a week.

Talk of grabbing the Facebook chick for CEO or similar. Love that irony. Additionally, the head of TSLA will still have no manufacturing expertise. They really aren’t manufacturing a product at a profit so much as selling a dream.

Musk as head of Sales would be a great fit.

His troubles aren’t behind him. This is fucking great theater though.
