That said long SPY and EFA for the past few years really helps the bottom line.

My friend I have made out well. But I missed the run from 35 to 44. Sold at 35 haven't bought back.

Somewhere between 5x and 7x on my original.

Because low prices cures low prices. With oil prices so low there has been no investment in new wells coupled with very high depletion rates in existing wells and you have an eventual problem. The eventual is now. Do you follow the inventory report? Down over 40 million barrels since October, when inventories usually increase. The world has an oil supply problem that is coming due very soon.

Regarding ETE, I don't have the money to buy it outright and still own the other holdings. Those options cost me 20k.

Bought another 2k shares SND yesterday when it crashed. I'm starting to have a little more of my net worth tied to fracking sand than I would like. CRC is going bonkers like I predicted. We have major resistance at $25. Once that goes there's nothing until $100. I expect $25 to fall by earnings.

We'll see what happens.

Is there really a need for a 7K security camera? Can't really see what a company gains over a 1080p surveillance camera. Might be good in casino situations, but I see a 7K camera being a bust and low profits.

Security products is a brutally competitive, low-bid world even in casinos. Building systems are nearly always put out to bid.

Hard to write a specification for bid around a camera.

I did end up buying this stock, the price went down initially and my friend convinced me to double down so i did. (he is a very smart and successful person) close to 50k. so the final close is $27 per stock (i know not a lot for you guys but fairly substantial investment gain for me).
I don't invest very often unless certain friends advise me to. Truthfully i had mostly forgot about this until i got a note of the sale of the company.
