Tournament Buyin: FREE - it doesn't even cost you any play chips!
Tournament Prizes: 1st: $40, 2nd: $20, 3rd: $13, 4th: $7. I will send this to you by PayPal, bank transfer, or check. PM me after you win to claim your prize. 2nd place finisher is allowed to take the $15 instead of the gift card, which would then be awarded to 3rd place.

To qualify for the freeroll, you need to have registered on PokerFraudAlert by June 1, 2013.

If you are a lurker and still want to play, you must PM me or e-mail me beforehand and explain how long you've been listening/lurking, and tell me some of your favorite anecdotes from the forum (either here or DD) or the radio show. If you fail to do this before the tournament, or if you send me some generic bullshit like, "I think the show is funny. I like the show", you will NOT qualify for the freeroll, and your prize will be given to the next qualifying finisher. If you were an old-school regular user from NWP/DD who I remember, you will automatically qualify even if you weren't registered by 6/1/2013.

Alternately, you can donate a minimum of $10 to the freeroll, and you can also qualify for this and all other future freerolls by doing so.

You will also automatically qualify if I remember you from NWP/DD, provided you are not banned from this site.

I am doing this in order to prevent freeroll-hunting leeches from using our site for our freeroll money and then disappearing.

This is for fun, and I'm not looking to be a hard-ass.

In fact, if you buy a piece of me and then want a refund, I will give it to you in full, provided it's like 10 days or more before the event.

If it really does appear to be a mistake, I will definitely refund everything, provided the mistake is brought to my attention BEFORE I show up to the event.

But wait, are you asking about me accidentally SELLING too much? That actually happened last year, and it cost me a good deal of money. I did not mean to sell 55% of the $5k limit, but I accidentally did so, and I honored it, even though I could have backed some of it out before I played. I figured that I agreed to sell that much (even accidentally), so it would be a dick move to cancel people's purchases. Then I cashed for $52k and had to give away 55% of it, but that's the way it goes.

But if a mistake happens and it's caught pretty early on (obviously before the event starts), it's not that bad to cancel people's shares, provided you give a quick and timely refund. I chose not to do that and just honored everything I sold.

Oh, and if they already played the tournament, then anything bought needs to stick 100%.

This is why I am very clear before I play exactly who has bought pieces, who has paid, and what everyone can expect from me.

Well basically if you have a clear agreement to buy a piece of someone, you own that piece.

Now, if you never sent money for it, they have an argument that you didn't pay on time and could have freerolled them, but if you have it in writing that they agree you can pay later, then again you own that piece.

Anything else is scamming/freerolling.

The payment thing is important, though. People can't just say, "Hey, reserve me 3% of the $1500 NL Event #52", never pay, and then demand 3% of your cash when you win. Unless you have something clear saying, "Yeah, you got the 3%, feel free to pay me any time", then it isn't valid.

If somehow this is about me and I forgot to pay you from last year (though I don't think I did), contact me privately and I will honor anything I agreed to.

BTW I got a lot of "hey reserve me X% of this event" last year, without payment. I never expected these people to pay me (that is, I don't feel they owe me money), nor was I going to pay them if I cashed.
