Betting advice to Druff or Dodger fans

I don't know if you bet sports but I promise you will make money if you just fade Dan Haren every one of his starts until he's out of the rotation. That way you either win money or your Dodgers win. I personally like Dan Haren but he is washed up and doesn't know it yet.

Nothing like the guy you are trying to fade having an excellent night and still having a chance to win.

Did anyone else leave the radio on? The game came on a split second before Martinez knocked that run in. Almost the same exact time.

Biggest LOL was allowing a home run to Dee Gordon.

    Good job.

Phil Coke is a fucking bum that shouldn't be pitching for the Tigers yet they keep his sorry ass around. Ask any Detroit fan and we just don't get it.

Ned Colletti is the genral manager idiot that's why Dan Haren is on the team.

Colletti & Dumbrowski. Two of a kind.

Prince Fielder's fielding breaks things open as Red Sox top Rangers ...

Tigers still paying Fielder $6 million a year to play for Rangers.

Josh Beckett ($15 million) ranked 130th of 131 pitchers who have played at least 25 games past 2 years.

Two GM's with unlimited funds and no clue.

It was Theo and the Red Sox who were dumb enough to give Beckett that deal in the first place, don't forget.

And made the genius trade to unwind from it.

The sad thing is that the Dodgers could have offered to just take Crawford's contract off Boston's hands (in order to also get Gonzalez), and Boston would have 100% agreed to it.

Basically Boston had two horrible, large, long-lasting contracts to unload (Crawford and Beckett), and an "okay" contract in Gonzalez. The Dodgers didn't need to take all three. They could have stuck to their guns, said no to Beckett, and the same deal would have gotten done.

Boston knew that the new ownership group had super-deep pockets and was willing to spend crazy money, so they assumed two awful contracts just to get Gonzalez's okay contract.

    Crazy.

Gonzalez is pretty much worth the money they're paying him (but not more), Crawford is worth something but not nearly what he's getting paid, and Beckett is almost useless.

And if Boston somehow wouldn't have bit without a deal for Beckett, they could have left Crawford out of the deal and taken Beckett instead, knowing they have so many outfielders already.

I just hope they don't trade Joc Pederson. He's ready to play now, but they are holding him down in the minors because they already have four expensive outfielders.

Honestly, the Dodgers need to find a way to ship out Crawford and Ethier, even if they eat some money, promote Pederson, and field an OF of Puig-Pederson-Kemp.

While it's rare to see a summertime trade between two contending teams involving veteran players, I really could see a dodgers/reds swap happening. Ethier/Gordon for Phillips/B level prospect or something like that. Depending on how the money works out, it would be a mutually beneficial trade.
