Betrayed by treachery from within their own bureau, F.B.I. agents Don and Sonny battle Nazi agents and still manage to defeat them in wartime New York City 1943 in "Who killed Lorna Dumbeck and why"...



Sonny and Don in lower Manhatten pondering the case...

"So who do you think did it Don?"...

"The boyfriend....It's always the boyfriend"...

"Well maybe so Don....But did you see the look on his face when we told him she was dead?...The tears in his eyes?...I've been doing this job for 15 years and never saw someone react like that...I have my doubts"...

"Sonny, sometimes you're a sorry sap...Suck it up and move on"...



Sonny and Captain Peterson at headquarters...

"Captain I know it wasn't the boyfriend...He was framed I tell you!...It was Hugh Jones and his mob!...We can't let that man die in electric chair!"...



"Are you crazy Richardson?...The evidence is overwhelming...Richardson get your hands off of me and you're off the case"...



Sonny and his wife Jennifer...

"Jennifer I've been thrown off the case, and wish it were all a dream...But an innocent man is going to die tomorrow...I know I'm right...But,but it's like some unknown force is working against me"...



Captain Peterson on vacation the next day at Niagra Falls, but spotted Hugh Jones and followed him...

"Baby after we blow this dam those Krauts are going to pay me a million dollars...And we got away with murder...Only smart guy is that Richardson...Why he questioned me to death almost...Relentless but they don't believe him"...

Captain Peterson hearing outside...Thinks in head...

"OMG Richardson was right all the time!...Well I won't let them get away with this"...

"Wait!...As a kid I used to live here, before the dam there's a tunnel that leads inside the dam to the control tower"...

Don says..."Good, we'll divide our forces and try to get them in a crossfire"...



Sonny thinks in head as they approach the dam...

Been working on this for 7 years now...The story is done and needs some editing...Then put on CD and send it...Cost is $300 to read it and see what they say...If they like it they usually will offer maybe 10K...But that's out of the question if they make a movie out of it...I'll take no less than 1-2% of the gross at the box office...

My other story "Goldmining...The epic Adventure" I feel is better...And it's sequel (The Blue Diamond) has the viewer riveted to his seat and crying with joy at the end... Besides action and adventure it has love and romance in it for the ladies...They'll love it...

You know your Noir indeed...Billy Wilder = true genius..."Sunset Blvd....And Double Imdemity"...To mention a few...

Bladerunner may have been the best Noir of the 80s, Although many may have not known what film noir was...Plus the fact that I had to watch it several times to fully grasp it...

"Yes Mr. Jones and thankyou for coming"...

"Well let's get down to it Colonel. I'm a busy man and time is money for me"...

"Mr. Jones sir, I'm aware of your credentials in the New York mob. Quite impressive and of a man who gets thing done"...

"Cut the crap Kraut and get to it"...

"Ok I represent The Third Reich Mr. Jones. The war is going badly for us on the Eastern Front, and soon the Allies will open a second front in the West. We need a disaster to happen to the Allies. A disaster so immense that it will delay or even knock America out of the War"...

"And what is this immense Colonel?"....

"To blow up the dam at Niagra Falls and knock out the electricity and flood lower New York"...

"Are you f*cking crazy Colonel?...That dam is guarded by over two hundred soldiers. Armed with tanks and heavy machine guns. Besides where would I get enough explosives to do the job?"...

"We can supply the explosives Mr. Jones. We have a soure out of Sweden that can ship them here. Have you ever heard the name Lorna Dumbeck?"...

"Why yes I think I have. A very wealthy Jewish woman who lives here in America. What does she have to do with this?"...

"She's an importer of furniture from Sweden. Without telling her why I think we may be able to use her company to import the explosives. All you have to do is tell her that unless she gives you full access without question to her company that she will never see her relatives again as they are in the custody of The Third Reich"...

"Alright Colonel suppose I take on this job. What kind of money are we talking about?"...

"I have $500,000 under the table in a breifcase Mr. Jones."...

"Sounds good for a start but the cost is a Million Colonel"...

"Alright then a Million Mr. Jones. Then we have a deal?"...

"You know you and your Nazi pals are the biggest scumbags I ever heard of. All this Arian bullsh*t. But I guess I'm worse, yeah we have a deal Colonel"...

Earier in the story, 24 hours before he puts it all together.

A man in conflict. Torn in dilemma with only 24 hours to save a man's life, unjustly he was convinced was convicted of murder. What would he do? Go to Belmont tomorrow and celebrate his wedding anniversity with his wife and bet the 20 dollars Don gave him on the long shot horse Red-Runner? Or just take another drink from the bottle and continue somehow in his efforts to save an innocent man's life?

The next day.



''I'm so glad we came Sonny. Aren't you?''

''Oh yes Jennifer, To be with you on our anniversity is really a man's dream. I'm truly the luckiest man alive.''

And indeed he is happy but at a price knowing that a man is going to die within hours.

''And you did bet that $20 on that horse Don told you to, right Sonny?''

''Yes dear, Red-Runner who now happens to be a 500-1 longshot. That Don I tell you, I should just do the opposite and put it on a favorite as it's more likely to happen. All my life I've done the opposite of what he thinks and been more sucessful.''

''Well he gave us the money so it's what we should do Sonny.''

''Yes sweetheart it's done so let's try to have some fun here.''

And the race begins, with Red-Runner last out of the gates and clearely behind.

''Oh brother this Red-Runner is going to have me crying the blues.''Says Sonny.



But she starts picking up ground about halfway around the track.



''Sonny! Sonny! Look,Look! She starting to make up ground!''

''Yes I can see Jennifer! What the heck?! Hey I didn't see that board just before the race started but it's reading 750-1 right now! Omg, if we win this our money problems are over! Come on Red-Runner!''



And Red-Runner does win and it's a $15,000 payout!



''I'm in shock and don't believe this Jennifer, but let's get to the cashiers window and see if this is really true.''

We'll use Peck here then switch back to Grant.

''It's true? $15,000.''

''Yes sir I can hardly believe it myself. And for me telling you you were crazy to bet that horse.''

Cop on the left says.

''Is there some kind of problem here?''

Jennifer speaks.

''I'm Jennifer Richardson and we just won $15,000!''

''Oh then that's terrific Mrs. Richardson!''

Cashier says.

''You know only you and one other bet on that horse sir.''

''Oh really, and who was that?''

''Hugh Jones the owner. But he's in Niagara right now at his summer home.''

''What!'' Says Sonny.

Then it all came crashing down upon him like ton of bricks.

OMG it all makes sense now. Hugh Jones the owner and at Nigara. The explosives found at the dock. Annette his flousy at the bar saying the man could generate electic ideas. And what's the opposite of red as that has to be the key? Of course! Nazi! Certainly that's it, Jones has joined the Nazis and was obviously using Lorna Dumbeck to import the means to destroy the dam. Hugh Jones and his mob are going to blow up the dam at Niagara Falls. And an innocent man is going to die being famed by him for a murder he did not commit. Well not if I can help it! But first I must reach Albany and get the governor to order a stay!
