    Supernatural cards?

Does your mood, thoughts or karma affect the cards?

I'm talking about are the times when you're all in on the turn, you flip up your cards to see you are 90% to win but you KNOW before the river is dealt that you lost. You see that undesired card vividly in your mind and then it comes.

Or when you are dominated going in but you never worry because you know the cards are gonna come in your favor. You have AQ vs AK but you know the Q is coming and you see it in your mind and it comes.

You wake up in a great mood or get some good news, you go to the casino and hit a hot run of cards. On the other end say you get into an argument with your GF then go and get cold cards... till you flop the nut flush only to get rivered by a full house.

Tilting leads to bad decisions ect... luck could just be attributed to the general odds... But is their is more to it than that?

No. Your mood does not effect the way the cards are shuffled by a dealer. It effects your play and you do stupid stuff like keeping track of how many flops you have played without hitting a pair, set, etc. Doing that puts you in a worse mood and your worse mood makes you think you are running bad.

How is the fact that you fought with your girlfriend at home going to change how the dealer shuffles the cards?

Not going to say that your mood changes the cards, but I will say this:

When I was heads up for the bracelet back in 05, I had the guy down to a short stack seemingly forever, but could never finish him off. In fact, I couldn't even get him to the point where he was all-in. (This was limit, so I couldn't just put him all-in when I felt like it.)

I was getting really frustrated and started getting worried that I would choke and lose the whole thing, but I kept calm and hid my true emotions from him.

Finally I got dealt T7 of diamonds, and right when I looked at it, I "knew" that would somehow be the final hand. I can't explain it, but I just knew. And that's exactly what ended up happening, even though I had to suck out on the turn to win. The hand also saw a fair amount of action, so it's not like he was down to his final bet and I predicted I'd win the hand.

The law of physics says no on the supernatural...

Still at times you perdict that river card that thwarts your dreams, and reinforces the mystic...

Andy Bloch had Chip Reese on the ropes a half dozen times in Horse in a 10 hour battle...And still lost...

It's fate and even happens "Live"...As the Donk Moneymaker proved in 2003 defeating scores of bracet winners...And never done anything since...

There's no magic in the cards. The card protectors, however? Talismans of the highest order.
