NSAC issues banhammer on TRT and UFC additionlly immediate bans its use for all fighters

First Im shocked nobodyelse has posted this massive news out of the MMA world.. Earlier day the NSAC immediately banned the use of TRT and cancelled all exemptions for fighters both in MMA and Boxing, I think we all know this immediately will put Belfort into retirement and likely means the end for Sonnen, Rich Franklin and a few others who are already getting up there in age. This may or may not be a death knell for Overheem but he might be salvageable unless he fried his gonads with previous juicing episodes.. The reality is this will radically change the story. No more can these guys fight off the juice and could they beat somebody if they weren't using TRT since nobody will be allowed period. No word on if Bellator and WSOF will follow UFC's lead but if they are smart they will..

def good news, let's not go crazy here. Its not like they announced random drug tests or out of competition blood tests or anything. This will hurt a small but notable group of fighters, but it doesn't make it a clean sport by any stretch. Just closes an easily exploitable loophole for juicing.

Solid step forward for the sport, tho.

I legit consider Machida v Weidman a fucking superfight, btw. Like this is the first time I gave a shit about a fight in maybe 2 solid years.

This Vitor shit is murky as a motherfucker. So he was tested out of competition by the NSAC 2/7 at the MMA Awards, and the results came back to them/UFC/Vitor this week, but since Vitor isn't going to apply for a license right now, the results will not be made public info.

So Vitor is currently on TRT. He says that, and his attorney confirmed to Kevin Iole.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mma-ca...5038--mma.html
Yahoo Sports: Was Vitor on TRT at the time he took that Feb. 7 test?
Tabachnick: Yes, under a doctor's care.

We knew that, right? But he couldn't be on TRT and get a Nevada license, even before all this new shit came down. The Nevada policy is very simply that you can NOT be on the juice before your get the exemption. Doesn't matter that you already passed the test in other places and other commissions are cool with you use. The fact that Vitor was on TRT at the time of his Feb 7th test pretty much made this fight impossible from the get-go. If Vitor applies for a fight license, that test comes into play, and no matter how you look at it, he clearly has to have failed the test, because they admit to being on the T when by law, he had no exemption for it.

Makes the timing of all this NSAC total ban stuff so very, very suspect. Whatever, the outcome is awesome, but holy shit, this looks like a hella-conspiracy to save the NSAC, Vitor, and the UFC a lot of grief.

I am pretty sure that is the first time Hendo has ever been even rocked, let alone finished. It's time for the guy to hang it up. He is an all time goat and shouldn't be fighting Brazilian Kenny Powerses that have failed juicing tests in the past at 43.

    Screw that cheating faggot.

Have we ever gotten a better matchup in a title fight as a result of one guy getting hurt/backing out/whatever? I cant fucking wait for this one. Machida looked more than up to the task when he slapped mousasi around last month.
