An unfortunate day for pro wrestling, as we’ve learned Nelson Frazier, known by many aliases in the WWE, including King Mabel, has passed away due to a heart attack. He had just turned 42 last week.
Frazier, also known as Big Daddy V or Viscera, spent about 8 years between his three WWE runs between 1993 and 2008. He was a WWF Tag Team and Hardcore champion, and perhaps most memorably, the 1995 King of the Ring. His accomplishments outside of the WWE included winning titles in the USWA, All Japan Pro Wrestling, WWC, and other promotions. In 2013, Frazier was inducted into the New England Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame.
After his final WWE run, he appeared in films with Will Sasso, Rip Torn, Batista, and Rob Van Dam.
Frazier will be missed. We at Cage Passion Sports would like to extend our condolences to his family and friends.
