What new possession/exorcism movie is coming out?
And as someone else said L.O.L at referencing the "Daily Fail" as a News Source.

When faced with a difficult decision, ask yourself "What would Micon do?", then do the opposite.

So you believe that there are outside forces that are inherently good or evil? Like, some of these forces are malevolent, intend to do hard to humans, or otherwise generally do things that bring pain, disease, and/or hauntings that make human lives worse? And the converse, you also believe there are good spirits/ghosts/forces, the "Glindas" of the otherworlds, the forces that are fundamentally fighting for the goodness of humans?
Read up on the events that brought about the book/movie The Entity.
Weird shit happens in the world.
"Birds born in a cage think flying is an illness." - Alejandro Jodorowsky
"America is not so much a nightmare as a non-dream. The American non-dream is precisely a move to wipe the dream out of existence. The dream is a spontaneous happening and therefore dangerous to a control system set up by the non-dreamers." -- William S. Burroughs
I saw half of one of those Paranormal shows about a family that lived on a farm. One night they were set upon by 8 foot tall werewolf type creatures who walked on their hind legs. The father even went outside at one point and was surrounded by the creatures so he saw them pretty close up.
I know that sounds insane. It is insane. I didn't care about the creatures at all. I believed the family believed this happened. That is what interested me. How do 3 people talk themselves into believing this is going on? I understand some weird psychological transfers can happen under stressful situations, but this was just a family chilling at their farm on a normal night. Outside of eating some food that went bad, how could this happen?
I find stories such as this link interesting:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miracle_of_the_Sun
Where 30,000+ people mass hallucinated some sort of miracle.
For some really headfucky stuff, I recommend Robert Anton Wilson's book "Cosmic Trigger" about his supposed telepathic communication with an alien race. You go back and forth almost page by page with this book alternating between "this guy is batshit crazy" and "this guy is just fucking with us"
I would not recommend this book to sheeboon, might send you off the deep end.

Most of Wilson's books can send you all over the world and consciousness -- that is kind of the point. I find his books to be like the show LOST -- Full of great stuff that never really never gives you total explanation of this world.
I kept writing notes trying to follow the crazy number of characters in Illuminatus. I made it about 1/3 through.
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and Infinite Jest go the same way.
Philosophical and spiritual BlueBalls are the place all of these guys dwell.

Obviously bs, tldr.
Everybody has a smartphone in their pocket these days. How come it didn't get filmed?
I got the video right here..... shits REAL!
At some point in the near future, when you try to lie to children about Bigfoots or Santa Clauses or Chupacabres, they're all going to start asking "Why haven't I seen any on YouTube?". The Russians are already there, with the prevalence of dashcams in addition to smartphones, nobody missed that meteor. Soon there will be no excuse for us missing any supernatural phenomena.
Which is awesome, because it conditions us to demand evidence for extraordinary claims.
This story just made the O'Reilly show. He sounds somewhat sceptical but is going to get the priest on for an interview. Ok so now I am wondering "what if this is true?" Do we need to get garlic necklaces?
As an aside, this story was picked up by The Blaze and Daily Mail off the Indy Star newspaper. If you click on the links in the OP they have links to original story from Indy Star in there.

I was raised mildly Catholic and am now pretty much an athiestic agnostic.
But if shit ever gets real I'm not calling in the Lutherans or the Methodists or the Presbyterians, I'm calling the Vatican and it's not close.
Wow, just read the story. I haven't seen someone that possessed since I read Jimmy's posts in the Kap thread
