Wynn Online Poker coming soon to New Jersey... but being run by Caesars?!

Chris Grove reported the following at onlinepokerreport.com:

Wynn Interactive, in conjunction with partners AAPN and Caesars Interactive Entertainment, recently petitioned New Jersey gaming regulators for a transactional waiver, a precursor to doing business in the state’s regulated market for online gambling.

Now here's where it gets confusing.

Wynn will be using the 888.com software, just like WSOP.com.

Their servers will also be housed on Caesar's properties, as the result of a previous agreement (because Wynn has no existing casino in New Jersey).

Despite this, Wynn will operate separately, not share players with WSOP.com, and in fact will be a competing room!

So Caesar's is going to be running a room competing with.... themselves. Not sure how much money Wynn is paying Caesar's for this privilege, or if it's revenue sharing thing.

Wynn will also apparently be the second skin on the weird "888 All American Poker Network", which right now only has one skin -- us.888.com.

The All American Poker Network also uses 888 software (obviously), but again is separate from WSOP.com while running on Caesar's servers.

So Wynn is apparently going to be a skin on this network, meaning that us.888.com will become even further irrelevant.

Supposedly us.888.com is offering 50% rakeback for January only, but otherwise they have no VIP program, which is awful.

    In NJ 80% rakeback

"they’re following that up with New Jersey's biggest rakeback offer yet — 80% on all cash games until May. Starting Jan. 15, 2014, players who wager $500 on cash games during the course of one day will receive 80% of their rake returned for every cash game they play until May 1. However, in order for players to participate, they must enter by Jan. 31."

Not that confusing really --ok I'm lying, it's really confusing unless you follow the NJ market. You have most of correct, you just haven't gotten the part where Caesars fits in with Wynn ironed out.

    1. Wynn does not have a physical property so they are essentially leasing space for their servers at a Caesars property --each property in NJ can have up to five different gambling domains.
    2. Wynn has a deal with 888 in both NV and NJ (which also has a deal with Caesars, but Caesars also has a deal with Amaya Gaming too) to provide Wynn with their software.
    3. Caesars and Wynn operate TWO online poker rooms in NJ and they are already separate, US.888Poker.com and WSOP.com.
    4. The Wynn room will join US.888Poker.com on the AAPN network and WSOP.com will remain separate --for the time being anyway

The only role Caesars has with Wynn is leasing them space in one of their casinos to operate their servers. It just so happens that they also have an online poker room on the same network Wynn will be joining. It would be like Ladbrokes renting a building from William Hill -- with the building being necessary to secure an online gaming license-- to setup an online poker site on the iPoker Network

I just saw this -- and am trying to understand it before tomorrow's deadline.... What does "wager $500 on cash games during the course of one day" mean? Is a day midnight to midnight, or do they calculate it based on any 24 hour period? And, does "wager $500" simply mean put a total of $500 from your stack into pots over the course of the day?
Since, as far as I know, there are like ZERO LHE games on that site, I wonder if this can reasonably be done by playing 2-3 hours of .25-.50 NL ($25 buyin) or .50-1 NL ($50 buyin)? 80% rakeback until May 1 sounds pretty sweet.

All you have to do is sign up for their e-mail. After that any day you wager over $500 you get 80%.
