Amazon shipped my PS4 at 2pm yesterday, expecting it to be here Friday (launch day). But due to nice work by UPS, it was on my doorstep at 4pm today.
I pre-ordered Watch Dogs, as it was the only launch game I really wanted to play, and that unfortunately got pushed back to March (as did the South Park RPG).
I'm downloading all of the free games now before everyone else signs up tonight.
What games are you guys getting?

Last nights South Park was about Xbox vs PS4 with some Game of Thrones thrown in. It was a great episode. The had a nice in joke about pre-orders and the delays for the SP game. This episode also gave me my new signature.

I like the remote play feature.
The problem with the new PS4 is you can't use Netflix with it.
And no one wants to pay extra money to use the PlayStation network.
The PS4 will still make money mainly because it's more popular
overseas than Xbox.
Most players are waiting for the Xbox One.
Xbox One has the better value here, for most players because of Xbox Live, more games,
Kinect, etc. Hopefully, Microsoft fixed any red ring of death issues.

Why would I buy a brand new 400 dollar system to play a game that's essentially the same game that's been released for the last 15+ years?
I don't want to play the same shit with better graphics. I want to play new shit that's original and interesting.
A friend of mine was able to get a hold of three of these today. He intends to sell them on ebay which I've seen most of them are going for around $600-650 range with a few going for more for the basic console. It will be interesting to see whether waiting to list them is better or not.
I'm finally playing The Last of Us on the PS3. One of the best games ever and I'm not sure what took me so long.
Naughty Dog is one of the best game makers out there, the gameplay is very similar to Uncharted. Outstanding moonlanding.
