It's always a turnoff when an entertainment brand whores itself out to merchandising and advertisements. Even at the Simpsons' apex, Butterfinger commercials were corny as hell. I always admired Bill Waterson for putting his foot down on that.
But I have to tip my cap to the blatant way Roiland shamelessly goes about it like "hell yeah, we're selling out bitches!"
In the Dota 2 announcer pack, he makes no effort to hide the fact that he has no idea how the game works. Somehow that makes it more amusing. His rushed licensed adventure game is titled Rick And Morty's Rushed Licensed Adventure. Many of the jokes are about how there wasn't time to program basic functions into the game because it's just a cash grab so who cares.

I went to a Rick and Morty trivia thing a week ago and it was fun. They had some really hard questions and they showed Mr Meeseeks, Total Recall and Rixty Minutes.
Rixty Minutes was great because through the jump cuts of episodes there were some people who knew every word from Ants in my eyes Johnson to Real Fake Doors etc
Reportedly writing began for Season 3 on November 2.
