I'm into physics and to a lesser extent philosophy, and I don't see what the latest episode has to do with either.

There aren't any bad Rick and Morty eps, but this was one of my least favorites.

My good sir, he is not worthy of such fine headwear. Only intellectuals like ourselves can comprehend how deep and profound this cartoon is. I especially enjoyed the rich undertones of solipsism.

I tip my fedora to you all, and invite you to join me at /r/RickAndMorty. I am a moderator there, where I approve all the dank memes and fan art. Sometimes Justin Roiland stops by. That's right, he's a Redditor!

This almost gave me a new appreciation for the episode, but the last image gave it away.

re catch phrases, "hamburger time" was a metalocalypse reference btw. which is also hilarious.

i like the show, but the more i watch the more it becomes less of a "must see"

it's basically the same plot every episode, which gets kind of reduntant

There was really no doubt in my mind that season 2 was going to do some shark jumping.

You just cant pull off season 1 quality indefinitely.

But they have a good formulae. Its solid and they work their program well. No complaints.

So I play Battlefield 4 and there's this guy that named himself zoidberg and has a morty avatar. The only way he makes kills is by driving the EOD bot into infantry and tanks and sets people on fire. Guy is the ultimate troll. Pretty fun to watch him work.

speaking of viddya games and recalling sonatine's distate for shameless commercialism, Justin Roiland impulsively decided to record an announcer pack for DotA 2 and its considered a pretty big deal among that crowd

I play this game sometimes and wouldn't buy the voice pack, but I kiiiinda want that Meeseeks courier

    This thread is gold.

I loved the Rolling Stone review. Hard copy is less sanitized than the online version. Thought that odd.

    Brilliant, Funny And Totally Crass
How the Adult Swim hit "Rick and Morty" became one of TV's best, and weirdest, shows

    Rolling Stone Aug. 13, 2015

    Ah, the second season.
Harmon admits it went off the deep end conceptually. We're pretty convinced it (first episode of second season) might be the worst episode.
This guy, Roiland has that "I don't give a fuck" edge that is the hallmark of great art.

Rick and Morty's origins lie in a monthly short film festival called Channel 101, which Harmon co-founded. It was there that Roiland debuted a "Doc and Mharti" short, which involved a mad scientist getting a young boy to lick his balls every time they encounter a problem.
