Christmas Money at the Poker Tables

Used to be that the days following Christmas would be some of the best days at the tables.

Drunk college kids with freshly cashed checks from Grammy & Grampy, etc.

Non regular players taking advantage of vacation week.

Frankly, kinda depressing to be in casino during holidays, but I used to count on it to be the best play of the year.

Wasn't my experience so far at Foxwoods & Mohegan. Same old regs for the most part & the others play pretty well.

Still got about a month to go if the new money holds out.

I had a great night playing today. The games are definitely softer right after Christmas in a lot of places and I had a great table tonight. Luck definitely helps like flopping a set on a Q42 board when the other guy is stubborn with his AA and jams on me with both of us sitting 250bbs deep.

BNP binks Christmas from the Whos at the Whoville Casino

Then he slunk to the ice box. He took the Whos' feast, he took the who pudding, he took the roast beast. He cleaned out that ice box as quick as a flash.

Why, BNP even took the last of the Who cash.
