Completely insane temps/windchill for GB/SF game

This could be colder than the Ice Bowl (-36 windchill, -13 game temp). There is an artic blast that will arrive right around gametime, and a windchill warning starting at 6pm Sunday that runs through 6am the next day. The forecast windchill at 6am on Monday is -65 (the HIGH temp that day -17) Green Bay set a record this morning with a temp of -18.

By the end of the game it could be -40 or colder windchill very easily, with the forecast HIGH for Sunday -7, with the low supposed to be -20. So basically the best case scenario and high windchill of the day is going to be around -20 to -25. BEST CASE scenario!

That is seriously dangerous weather, you couldn't pay me to stand out there (still) for 10 minutes much less 4 fucking hours. You will literally have to be wrapped from head to toe, forget consuming anything because everything will be frozen.

Im up in Central WI right now with my kids, and we were going to go snowmobiling. We dont even want to shovel the driveway leading up to the storage shed. Its -16 over here and no one wants to go outside. Bloody Marys and TV sound much better.

I stopped by my father's yesterday to drop something off, and he wasn't home yet, so I shoveled his driveway. Didn't feel that bad, but when I went inside it took 20 minutes of clutching a hot coffee to feel my fingers. Didn't have gloves on because I wasn't planning on doing it. It's going to be like 15-20 degrees colder on Monday when that shit hits here. Some schools have already cancelled for Monday and Tuesday. Last time I can recall that happening was when I was in 8th grade. Love football in snow and cold, but that shit is extreme and might make for a bad game.

Monday will be worse, Tuesday puts winner at extreme competitive disadvantage for next game.

ended up shoveling snow for a bit, then using snowblower to clear the driveway, just to get the trailer with the kids snowmobile.

Kids used it for a total of 15 minutes...took 3 adults and 3 kids 45 minutes to get the driveway cleared.

Thats why I said it wont happen, but they have things now called a 10 day forecast which means that before GB crushed every Bears fans hopes and dreams they could have looked at the forecast and put that into account, but its the NFL where 1 guy can catch a ball and they say the other guy did, and then stick with it when everyone in the world knows what happened just so they dont have to admit being wrong.
