We should all know by now that not a single major televised news outlet is reputable, regardless of bias. Just because one is brought up doesn't mean it makes the others less terrible. Bringing that type of shit up is what Dirty and Rollo are for.

I actually don't hate CNN. It is not anywhere near as left-wing as many like to say. I find it to be more centrist, but they just make a lot of facepalmish mistakes, and seem especially prone to falling for internet hoaxes.

The way I see the news media:

Fox News: Right wing
CNN: Center
MSNBC: Left wing

That's not to say CNN is best, as they screw up in many ways unrelated to poliltics.

But yes, the media is a joke. I've always enjoyed when people clown them and make them look stupid for their poor fact and source checking. I used to really enjoy the Captain Janks segments on Howard Stern, where Janks would get through to some televised news program, identify himself as an "expert" (using some phony name and title), and get put on the air. He would speak normally for awhile, and then suddenly drop a line about Baba Booey or Howard Stern's penis. The news anchors never knew how to react. Priceless stuff.

There is a population from 18-25 who have never bought a print copy of a newspaper. This same demographic finds CNN, MSNBC, Diane Sawyer to be just an avenue for geriatric pharmaceutical advertising.
