I get solicitations for ads for casinos all the time, but I refuse them because they look very shady.

I will only run ads for legit-looking companies.

888 has been around forever but I want to be sure they are not acting shady these days.

Basically, a Russian guy (who appeared on our radio show about the matter) had his funds wrongfully confiscated, and the dude was clearly innocent. They were very difficult regarding discussing it with him, and basically shutting him out from discussion.

However, if that was the only real incident in all this time, I think I feel comfortable letting them advertise, given the company's size and reputation.

If you can point me to some good reasons not to take their ads, I won't.

Yes if you provide some of the affiliate/banner funds back to the community for freerolls, contests, etc.

Even if that is a small drop 5-10% of the money you receive that is something.

I play on there all the time. Rake is very high for micros, but the terrible play more than make up for it. Take the cash.

Being a public listed company, and regulated by Gibraltar. 888 are about as legitimate as a gambling company can be.
