Dude is trying his best to go to jail.
Sounds like a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.

"You run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole; you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole."
Not surprising at all.
This guy is not a hero.
He is a hothead and a piece of trash, who happened to tangle with another piece of trash and killed him.
What occurred in the Trayvon case was pretty obvious. Thug was walking through his neighborhood, not necessarily to cause any problem at the moment. Zimmerman confronted him, thug responded violently (as thugs typically do when confronted), Zimmerman shot him.
So Zimmerman wasn't really protecting the neighborhood, because the thug was just walking through and only got violent because he was confronted. At the same time, Trayvon the thug was very willing to start a fight when confronted, and likely would have committed plenty of crimes elsewhere down the line. Zimmerman shot him, in what was an obvious overreaction to the situation.
So basically you have a thug dead and the trash hothead pretty much a ticking time bomb to get himself into other trouble as time passed.
Lets not reopen this but the thug was standing in the rain in front of a house just robbed by thugs with the same description, so he wasnt just walking through.
This guy is a walking train wreck. You would think he would do his best to disappear before someone really makes him disappear.
True heros are rare.
What a bozo...
George Zimmerman has been arrested in Orlando, FL after allegedly attacking his pregnant girlfriend, law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
According to law enforcement sources -- which have been involved with the Zimmerman case since day one and have always been reliable -- Zimmerman got physical with his girlfriend earlier today, who claimed she was pregnant.
Since she's pregnant, we're told the domestic violence charge is automatically listed as a felony. The Seminole County Sheriff's website says Zimmerman is not eligible for bail.

Pic of the girlfriend...
"You run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole; you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole."
so the chick told the 911 dispatcher she was pregnant but she is not.
LOL there must be something about Zimmerman that makes people go off the deep end and he has to defend himself
Well just clowning around with the hero stuff.
Zimmerman's just a wannabe copper who can't cut it anywhere. He's had his fake fame and will turn out to be the loser he is shortly.
Funny how if he had a real manager he could prolly turn his bullsh#t into fame and make some $$$.
The whole thing is in 80% of the states he would of been convicted of manslaughter.
he was also acquitted on one of the last attempts to arrest him due to lack of evidence.
Not sure what to think with this guy. He seems like a mental midget, and might be just getting involved with the wrong types of people, then things escalate to absurdity.
I'd poke the blonde.
Stand your ground was not part of this case, it was a straight up self defense case. The media was harping on stand your ground when this story broke, but the actual case had nothing to do with the stand your ground law.
To answer your question I believe it's something like 30 states have stand your ground laws.
16 states have SYG laws on the same level as FL, others have SYG laws tied in with their self defense laws.
In California which is a nutty state if you were seen carrying a butter knife down the street you would be cuffed and hauled off to jail.
Reports are showing Zimmerman was shot in the face this morning during a road rage incident. Can't link the story from my phone.
It's obvious this guy just has a string of bad luck, can't possibly blame him for being an overly aggressive arrogant asshole.
