Hi everyone!

This will happen here on the PFA website so when you see the radio light on it will be myself and lewfather will be joining too.

The idea is to bring a mixed variety of discussion topics but sports will definitely be a big part of tonight's show.

I will join the PFA chat room if anyone wants to communicate in there and I will provide a call in number on the show later when it's on the air. I can accept skype calls as well but someone will have to pm me their name and I will either give my name or add you to my list.

The show will be archived on PFA and I will post a link for that sometime shortly after the show ends.

Hopefully all will go smoothly on the technical side because I'm still a noob when it comes to these things.

Just listened to the show & was pretty impressed. Definitely worth a listen.

A little bit of dead air here & there but that's to be expected with no real agenda & that will improve with a liitle experience. I have to agree with Rollo, Lew really shone in the josey segmnet. Well done big dog.

The next show will be better because we will have shit planned out and won't be shooting from the hip.

I had a few questions I was going to ask josey but lew was on a roll with the segment that I didn't say much during it.

Their wasn't a ton planned it was put together quickly so when that happens their is the potential for real fail but overall the feedback has been more positive then negative. It's good to hear constructive criticism which I can take it if someone says they didn't like this or that if they are able to state why instead of a troll response. Not every segment will cater to everyone but we tried to mix it up a bit.

Any future suggestions for topics or people who might want to call/skype into me would be great.

Hopefully we can get an "Ask cmoney about the porn industry" type of segment along with stories.

There's something to be said for "shooting from the hip". There's a chance for fail but also the chance for some real gold. A few planned segments mixed in with some spontaneous wackiness(josey call) makes for a good show.

I'll be honest, I couldn't get through the first 5 minutes. Why does each show have to have an intro song. Its fucking gay and cheesy. I never understood this.

I'm not much of a fan of intro songs myself so I can relate to this but the reason for having one is it gives live listeners a chance to start radio up without missing any of the show.

If you just jump right in then people will be upset they missed a few minutes that they might have caught if they knew about the shows exact second it went on the air which people aren't going to know.

Even though I posted a thread a little before some people don't see that may decide to listen. These people might have clicked some other place on the forum which they now see the radio light,etc...

Your thoughts are appreciated but one thing good about listening later if you choose to do that is you can of course skip songs or a segment you may not care to hear.

I never listened in the NWP days, but I'm pretty sure this all started with Micon. I'm not aware of any other podcasts or terrestrial radio programs that ever played entire songs before a show. They usually just run 10-second bumpers.

And being a Micon ritual, it's not hard to guess the real reason for this practice. Hint: it's none of the ones that you listed.

I thought dopey intro songs were some sort of FCC code requirement.
