    New Respect for Todd

I host a soccer podcast with a co-host who is in England. We do our show on Monday nights. Circumstances forced us to move the show to tonight, and at the last minute, he couldn't make the show. I tried to get a co-host for tonight with no success, so, I decided to go at it solo, alla Poker Fraud Alert on Tuesdays.

That was one of the toughest things I've ever done, and also one of the most rewarding. I did 90 minutes of just straight talking, cutting the show a little short to save topics for the next show with my co-host. Usually, we do 3 hours. I could have done another 2 hours, but felt like I was rambling on.

Todd, I now find it truly amazing how you can do that week in and week out. It helps to have a passion for the subject. I'd imagine your passion for poker talk is as great as mine for soccer talk. Keep on doing what you do, and congratulations on the hard work that goes into doing something like that week in and week out.

    Joe

I've done several hundred hours of solo radio, most of it awful, and it never got any easier.

Add one co-host to the mix and it makes things 1000x simpler.

Todd is very good at what he does.

I agree 100%! It's super difficult to do a show by yourself as you need someone else to bounce communication and ideas off of. Many times even when the content to be covered isn't that exciting it still keeps the show listenable.

Props to Druff for doing many shows either completely solo or for a good portion of it. I also volunteer to co-host PFA Radio again sometime soon if either nobody else can or if he'd like me to.

    Thank you, Joe and others.

It's much easier (especially on my voice) to have a co-host.

When it nears 3 hours, I am usually hurting if I have to do it myself. Last night was a little bit easier because of some long phone calls.

Was very glad to have LAWN CIGAR last week when the show was over 5 hours.

Having stuff to talk about wasn't much of an issue, it was the physical part that was toughest. You tend to change the way you breathe, and at points, I even found myself getting a little light headed. Todd is right on as we'll about the voice stuff. In the winter here, it's pretty dry. I'd imagine Vegas is worse. Your throat gets very dry, and the constant talking doesn't leave much time to re-hydrate.

I remember the snake in the grass show going for like 140 straight days, so 3 hours isnt that impressive.

Would love to know what Marco ended up taking home, money-wise, for his time with the Snake in the Grass.

I'm sure it was a tiny percentage of what the Snake made. We all know how the Snake screwed SrslySirius in several ways, so I'm guessing Marco didn't fare too well, either.

Is the Snake involved in poker anymore? Wonder if he finally went back to Canada.
