The end of the wake game was like the end of yesterday’s FIU game but in reverse.
I have heard nonstop for the last 2 weeks how Army was the sharpest Bowl play, but I just never pulled the trigger. Looks like threw away an easy win.
when you cant stop the run with a top 5 pick DL in there, you have no shot against this kinda team unless they really fuck it up...and its army so the chances of that happening are very slim...
EDIT: and imagine getting into a bowl game and getting told you have to play army or Georgia tech...60 fucking minutes of just getting your knees beat to shit by the triple option...

5 minutes into the game was a “oh fuck a missed opertunity” moment. The minute Oliver came out of the game vs Memphis they went from 2-3 yards a carry to over 10. This really was a bloodbath waiting to happen.
I bet Army and I’m happy booking the win but this should have been a conviction play.
