Consider this with regard to public betting. I was listening to last night’s Dodgers Rockies game on the radio. I was tuned to the Rockies station cause Vin Scully doesn’t play any more.
Between innings there would be dead air. You would only hear the sound of the crowd until the start of the next half inning. Occasionally, there might be an ad for a local convenience store. The Rockies can’t sell ad space. Absolutely no public interest in this team even from their local fans.
