why cant they all be easy
Sick sick day for me. And druff didn't read my text excerpts.
Druff or anyone else do you have anything different than this? Also these are only 4 games with lines.
It's not enough for these fuckers to bludgeon us with juice? They are now offering different lines based on betting patterns? Cheesy as fuck.
No offense but I just can't believe a few of you guys if you are gambling as heavy as you seem are using Bovada for a primary book. They offer some of the worst lines in the industry and have those small max bets from time to time for obvious reasons. Don't get me wrong I've used the Bovada book too but just saying if you are betting as much as it sounds like you'd be better off on 5Dimes or another solid book.
went to site without logging in first. Saw the -8 and -5. Logged in and blipped back to where it was in my screen shot. Don't know how I didn't notice this before. My guess would be that this recently happened.
I've been donking sports on bodog since I was 18. And oh boy at that point I sure as hell wasn't getting sharp lines. They for sure don't have me tracked as a lifetime winner. I bet sports for 4 years way more off than on before I even found poker.
Edit: I can't remember when bovada started but I just remembered weekly trips to western union with between 100-500 to fund my betwwts.com account.
Reedit: Oh shit I forgot before that it was sportsinteraction.com first ... back then Jim Kelly would pop up on the screen pretty damn lifelike and endorse the site. That had to be cutting edge technology for those days.
I remember having big dreams of being a bookie back then. I had the plan set out to blast the dorms. I had the plan to set up a Kaiser Soze type that I "worked" for. Way before ever seeing Usual Suspects. I remember thinking I could get muscled collectors for 20 bucks an hour and they would feel overpaid. I wonder what would have happened. Too bad life events and eye problems held me down.
Well I took advantage of my sharp lines and took the square Toronto -7.5
1100 to win 1000. That bitch might be -9 by tip. It also might not but it seems like it should.
I will probably be looking at the (I'm guessing) more square side in the Washington vs. Miami game taking Washington -4.
Edit: Ended up with Toronto and also bet Orlando-3 (gulp) 440 to win 4. That's how I will keep my card. I think Washington will cover but games like that spook me.

Also just compared logged in to non logged in lines in the NFL and none of the numbers are different. However some sides are like (-125) (+105) while logged in instead of (-110) (-110) while logged out.
edit: for example I really like Kansas City at Pittsburgh this week. Unlogged in I get 3 points at (-105) Logged in I get 3 points at (-120)

If you are "betting heavy" you need at least two books, a sharp book and a square book. Square books include sportsbook.ag and Bovada. They slant lines/juice to favorites and overs. Sharp books like 5dimes and pinny keep true to what's being offered in Vegas and should be where you shop for dogs and unders.
It's also usefull for shooting middles in prop bets. I remember having cam newton over 199.5 (5dimes) and under 249.5 (Bovada) his rookie year (finished with 232). Great way to risk $40-$50 to win $1000.
For the Drexel pick this weekend, HAMMER Baltimore over Texans. I heard some great stats on ESPN (esstientially, their coach used to coach the texans and knows all their personell), great on the road, texans QB positions is up for grabs, great on the road, Texas is 1-6 all time against Balt.

if you agree, let Drex know.
I have never been on 5dimes, but I don't know how I could ever go on that site after the shit that I saw. I cant remember who posted it before, but it forced me to do a little google search, and I realized what a piece of work the owner must be. Judging by some of the screenshots, he just sounds like an unprofessional douchbag; and then there are stories of him keeping peoples money?
Maybe I got the wrong impression here, but there was a vibe that told me to stay away. im curious on others opinions though
Thinking of calling Bovada and asking them to unsquare my lines. Not joking.
Unless you guys know of another book where it's easy to deposit, easy to cash out, and reliable.
I am indeed noticing that favorites and overs are worse there.
Today's picks:
Charlotte/Philly - Under 193 - Two teams with big problems scoring playing one another.
Charlotte -4 -115 at Philly - As bad as Charlotte is, Philly is much worse, and I'm sure Charlotte is looking at this as a big opportunity to break their losing streak. Hard to pass up a small favorite against a 2-22 team.
Toronto -7.5 -105 at Detroit - Detroit is still terrible.
So I bet 735 to win 700 on the under, but the two sides predictably have bad lines on Bovada
