The Tigers then trot out Stumpf with his 13.85 ERA to keep the game close. Followed by an endless procession of waiver wire rejects and 30 yr old AAA lifers.
There was no fucking way the Tigers could win this game. NONE.
This was one of the few times in the recorded history of chalky lines when -185 was a screaming bargain. Everyone so fixated on the two marquee names. Arghhhhhhhh
I am sick. I woulda stuck my whole bankroll in this and never felt a moment of remorse if I lost. I cannot even look at a baseball game today. Dreadful.
