Dodgers aren't going to lose tomorrow.
With that said, I'm not a fan of very early season MLB betting or very late season NBA betting.
Just too hard to get a handle on what's going to happen.
A few weeks in, though, I might start throwing up some MLB dogs here again. Hopefully it goes like last year.
Check out this thread on Wizard of Vegas: http://wizardofvegas.com/forum/gambl...ey-line-picks/
If I tail his picks, it's only the 7x (7 units) picks which are always dogs. I bet them moneyline and alternative -1.5

We may have found a new ATM
Just want to grab these before common sense & news move the lines.
Sawks clubhouse experiencing some terrible flu. Key players out. Middle of the broadcast the announcer disappeared for the balance of game. Brutal. Jackie Bradley tweaked his knee today. Ride the Tiger
Cy Young Porcello (aided by last years freak offense that ain't playing Sunday). Take the underdog

Gegard Mousasi (-120)
Like him or hate him Russell Westbrook and his 42 triple doubles should not be denied the NBA MVP this season.
Eh, there is still a difference between most valuable and most impressive statistics.
They never do this, but the real MVP should be the person that, when they are in the game, the gap between points made and points allowed is the largest. You would make an exception for anyone on the second string who only comes in when the team is blowing out the other team.
These are the kinds of stats that blow holes through players like Lebron James. Often, the teams he has played for have better regular season records when he is out with an injury. Allen Iverson was followed by the same kind of embarrassing stats his whole career, but people were still more impressed that he could knock down 60 per game than the fact that having three other players all score over 20 was, statistically, a better winning strategy.
Oklahoma City Thunder lost one of the Top 3 players in the NBA aka Kevin Durant. They've fallen off some but could finish losing only 7 more games (up to 9 with two left) this season then last year.
If Westbrook didn't carry their asses where would this team be? A lot of players have won this award in the past just as long as their team makes the playoffs and they have had far worse stats with team records not much better.
The only other person worthy of considering is James Harden because the Rockets team record and his stats are amazing but not as good as Westbrook.
LeBron should not even be in consideration based on regular season this year. He has played less minutes and rested up some but when it comes time to shine if he shows up when it matters in the playoffs then that is what matters more winning a championship and getting MVP in that then the regular season.
Warriors 73-9 was great but no championship means Bulls 72-10 with championship is the better overall year.
Lol at taking the -230 moneyline for Minnesota and still losing, i hate basketball.

Those bet builders on 5dimes are amazing, i did my first one and binked it, 3 team parlay +179, pretty easy even for someone that did little to no research.

I don't really give a shit about awards like MVP, but in my mind, I look at team record and composition a bit more than stats. Thus, my list is probably a bit skewed compared to most but i'd go:
1. Kawhi
2. isiah thomas
3. Steph
4. Durant
5. Westbrook/Harden
6. Lebron
Made a separate thread to see if someone could get down to a William Hill book in Vegas to bet kicker in round 4-7.
Now look at it
I really like first half GWS over 107 and somewhat like the opening quarter over 54.
Game total is 220 and both teams can score a ton.
