Lakers game was looking awful for you guys (deficit well over 20 late in the game), but now it's an 8 point game.
I'll be rooting for them to cover, even though I have no $ on this.

Honestly I hate bets like these because many times it's totally random if you win. If you big dog runs up some at the end in trash time, you win. If they don't, you lose. But it's incredibly hard to handicap these, and I don't think +12.5 and +10.5 are all that much difference when dealing with a terrible team which gets blown out often (as the Lakers often do).
This one looked pretty bad for most of the game and barely won thanks to trash time.
I'm happy for everyone here who bet it, but I wouldn't suggest betting more like this, because it's a crapshoot.
If you're going to bet dogs, I think you're much better off betting on teams which you think might win outright, or at the very least will play the other team tough. When you're betting on +12.5 because you think the game will finish at 10 or 11 points (and your team is the 2nd worst in the NBA), I don't think you're getting much value.
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?
Did anyone impartial watch this game? The clippers were up like 30 in the third right? What happened after that?
Was it ref or nba rigged related? Did Silver force Doc to play Austin and Reddick? Did Silver force the Lakers to bench Kobe so they had a prayer? What the fuck happened here? Did they bring Donaghy back to ref the 4th? What sort of divine intervention took place?
I'd personally never bet against Kobe on his fairwell tour on ESPN but at same time couldn't imagine betting an obviously tanking team for any reason. Please tell what happened honestly protalk.
I only watched the first quarter.
Unless I have money on a game where a shitty team like the 76ers or Lakers are playing it's completely unwatchable to me.
To come back from 30 down and lose by only 10 sure does make people question if games are fixed or not.
Obviously this type of stuff happens from time to time but if you lose a few of them in this manner you really start to question wtf is going on?
Congrats to you guys who had Lakers at +10.5 or higher since you won but it don't mean it was a good bet and all of you were regretting it somewhere early in the third quarter I am sure.
I'm outraged my LAL pk +900 didn't get there. (true line +570)
Watching games is -EV, especially when they start at 4:30AM. I think the internet was out in the hotel anyway. What did I miss?
Show me a great write-up and I'll show you a losing gambler. Models and the market are smarter than me or you. I just take what they give me.
From 2001-2015 average margin of victory for all NBA home teams was 3.29 points. Average margin of victory for home team in LAL vs LAC was 3.00 points.
