Feel pretty strongly about over 47.5 Maryland-Virginia tonight. That VA defense appears to be a sieve, and I expect Tua Jr to put up at least 38 against them. Plus there is a decent chance he throws a pick 6 for the other team. JMU put up 36 on VA. Maryland defense isn’t bad, but they never shut you down. Don’t love overs, but this feels like one.

I didn't completely forget about baseball betting.

George Kirby is in a dysfunctional situation right now in Seattle. He's had a 6.00 ERA over his past 4 starts, and after the last one, he whined about being left in the game in the 7th inning "after 90 pitches". Yes, dude was whining about NOT being taken out.

This has drawn the ire of fans and former players, and the team is none too pleased.

Bobby Miller also has somewhat struggled in his past 4 starts, though he threw a gem against the Braves last week. I still like him and the Dodgers at near even money, especially with the Dodgers having the much better offense.

Kirby just seems like a guy in a funk right now.

Dodgers (B. Miller) -107 at Seattle (Kirby)

Despite both teams having decent bullpens (lol Machine Gun Kelly) I took the over 7.5 -115 and have used lesser alt totals in other bet construction.

Seattle’s Kirby is tired. That’s pretty much the extent of it. He’s gonna get hit.

More interesting is Bobby Miller. He has flash and his pitches have shape but he gets hard hit. This rookie has been figuring things out in the big leagues all year. Here’s the thing - Miller is the Dodgers #1 for the playoffs. There exists a temptation to keep pitching him in the continuing quest for Bobby to “find it”. On the other hand, he has 115 innings already and he is gonna be the workhouse and will likely be called upon to pitch on short rest in a series.

Dave Roberts will pitch Miller 6 full. He will give Roberts a rested bullpen for the likely Kershaw problem Saturday

The Dodgers are playing for absolutely nothing here. Let’s contrast the Dodgers legendary mismanagement of pitching with Dusty Baker and Javier today. Javier hasn’t been great but he is a critical piece for the playoffs. Dusty will pull him early. The under 15.5 outs is -155. Everybody knows. Dodgers just aren’t that smart when it comes to pitching. The mythical Dodger pitching skunkworks is the ploppy narrative instead. Sometimes it’s lonely being me.

Both these guys are gonna get hit despite this pitcher friendly park. If you wanna side I’d lean Mariners.

The series is something like -130 Dodgers +105 Mariners. Bet the individual games instead. The Mariners for even series $ with Kershaw Saturday (I’ve already scaled in Mariners full game but waiting for F5 for more direct targeting of Kershaw) and the Dodgers have no idea who to use for Sunday

I love Braves F5 over 2.5 team total but the juice went from -115 to -140. Maybe a chalk piece.

Jays are in shambles. Texas just put them down on the canvas and the ref started counting........

Jays -1.5 +150 tonight. If they lose I'll shut it down I promise San.

David Samson “Nothing Personal” talked about Manoah refusing to show up to his minor league assignment and his service time. The podcast is marked for each subject.

Skip Samson’s Jewish bro protection of Red Sox Chiam Bloom. I rode Bloom’s nuts since Spring Training. He was awful and ineffectual. I listen to Samson and he’s really good but he does break out the yarmulke on occasion.

Come to think of it, I rode the Banned Jays from day one too. Banned Jays, Andrew Fraudman, Chiam Bloom were really my only MLB targets and guess what?

Already lost Northwestern and it wasn't close. Sad!

Iowa got off to a bad start, but got it to 34-10 in the 4th, needing 5 to cover. They got the ball back, got it to the 9 yard line in the final minute, blew 3 downs, then finally got it in 4th and 2 with 33s left in the game.

So barring a miracle 30 second TD, I've got my ploppy -28 win.

Florida started down 7-0 but the Gators are biting now, up 19-7. Would be great to hit this +177. Charlotte getting clobbered 27-10.

The rest are going decent. Miami OH up 1, the under has just 7 points after 1, the over seems to be off to a good start, New Mexico up 3.

Was looking shitty at one point with everything that started on pace to lose, but now it's turned around.
