Linn Grant won and even better the woman who fluked the draw beat last year’s winner…

Obviously Grant needs to beat her also today in the final round robin, but what happens if Maddie also beats the whipping girl, as expected?

68 for afternoon wave for Cink….have to take it. Just sucks that another favorite had such a great round in the morning. If both Linn and the Canadian win and end up with 2.5 points…they go to sudden death playoff. Linn wins and Castren wins or ties…Linn goes through. That was always the shitty part about the tie. You still technically control your own destiny to make the weekend….but may have to fade a playoff. Castren just playing for a few extra bucks and pride. Scottie 67 was good. Lot of golf to be played, but not out of any yet.

Padraig almost hit it OB first hole. Terrible drives on 11 and 12. And he’s 2 under bogey free. Might get boat raced here. If Castren doesn’t play better we may be looking at a sudden death just to get to the knockout stage.

Cardinals and Injuns have tortured me, where I seem to lose no matter which way I bet on each of them.

How about a game with both?

The Injuns have the worst offense in baseball (just 169 runs scored in 49 games). The Cardinals, looking horrendous earlier in the season, are starting to look a bit better, and Matthew Liberatore has pitched well both in the minors and during his one start this year.

Our girl Linn won her first match today, moving to the final 8.

She was crushing her next match, up 4-1 after 10. Seemed to be over, but her opponent Fernando Valenzuela has rolled off 2 wins in the last 3 holes, and now it's 5-3 after 13.

Linn still a big favorite to win this, but she needs to not chunk this off. Provided this holds, we've got her in the final 4 for our 22-1 bet.

Linn has improved and got the measure of the course by her own admission (being more cautious at times as pars can defo win holes, but her scores yesterday in the quarter final especially were sick!!)

Linn being in the last 4 means I’m already in profit overall for this weekends golf; thanks Jeff!!

Although I can’t quite see the 4 timer winning, all 4 still have a good chance of a place, and not to mention the nice sweat on Linn potentially winning the whole thing…
