This is unusual, as dogs in NCAAB tend to collapse after getting beat hard in 1H. The books have caught up with this, which is why the game line is a lot longer than the half moneyline.
Feels shitty to lose a pick where I correctly pick the dog to do unexpectedly well, but they get it going in the second half. Note that my last pick like this, a +185 1H pick, won the first half but narrowly lost the game, so I was correct there.
Sweet fucking jesus. What a garbage field this is. Ive already pre bought champions club tickets for this event and I feel completely ripped off. Both Im and Lowry will be sub 10-1. Dont get me wrong Im a big fan of both and followers here know Im super high on S Im chances at Augusta. That being said in no fucking uncertain terms should they be bar none 1-2 on the card.
PGA going to have some real attendance issues where they sell out for the 18 “enhanced” events and all the others are relegated to Minor league status.

Obviously hes the best there is right now and the favorite for tomorrow….. that said hes had all the breaks and then some, Homa hasn't been able to bird or better the first hole yet and Homa has the best putter on the course by far. Its a recipe fir a comeback, but we shall see.

I agree and I’ll be routing hard for you today man. My picks went to shit,,,some faster than others. Getting lucky is one thing. But imo Rahm should prob be 7 or 8 under. Picked up 5/6 strokes off from miracles off the tee and 2 alone on that bank shot eagle. He is the best player in the world but to give him that amount of breaks in absurd. Great call and Max regardless. I know being close in Golf is extenuating. Maxis playing great. Rahm drives like he has last two days and Max just plays his game…well those 3 strokes could melt away like butter.

Well somehow Homa managed to get up a stroke on Rham but couldn't hold. Thats why we cant have nice things…..

I believe I'm the only one on this forum to have met JeffDime in person. Met him briefly at the end of 2021 at Bellagio, when he came over to say hi. We talked for about 45 minutes or so.
Yesterday was a frustrating day for me. I was playing poker at Commerce and not doing very well, so I lost track of time on the big NCAAB schedule. The bets I wanted to make were all past, and almost all of them won, including a few dogs.
Then I did get down two NHL picks I didn't like as much as the NCAAB picks, and both got clobbered.

Interesting game with Georgetown today. Had I been awake when the game started, I would have picked them in some way. Not sure if I would have gone with just 1H or the full game.
Had I gone 1H, I would have been very disappointed, as they lost that half by 5, but ended up winning the game by 6. But I also might have just gone with the full game, because they weren't huge dogs, despite their 7-21 record and being on the road.
Second game I've seen recently which defies the modern convention of the dog team not being able to come back if they're losing at the half. They were only down 5 at the half though, so this wasn't all that unusual. It's more unusual for a dog team getting killed at halftime being able to recover in 2H and cover the spread, unless the game spread is very long.
