@ok I’m thinking I might need to pay some attention to NBA. If only to appreciate other picks like yours.
I'll be watching Australian Basketball live soon and these picks will be very +EV
Stay tuned
Appreciate the nod, ok.
When baseball ended I was completely lost. Very little action. NHL used to be good to me and now I’m leaking oil so I have shut it down for the most part.
I need to buckle down.
Keep posting. I learn best when I have some money on the line.
Anyone know about the Barstool Sportsbook and if they give you any free shit without having to hit 25 billion in rollover? Or just don't take the bonus per usual?
They were just given a license by Maryland and will allegedly be taking bets by next week.
Yeah, I agree weather over rated on these CFB games. If it is a Big Ten West matchup you could always end up with a 9-6 game, because that is how those games go sometimes. But if it is 2 teams with ok offenses, bad weather and the line drops, give me the Over any day of the week. For example, I took Over 44 in the Miami/N Ill game last night. Some long runs and turnovers and game goes over in 3rd Q.
Saw that last night - my thinking was the first snow video hasn’t been played to the weather ploppies. I wanted/expected a 40. People eat this up thinking they are making a handicap.
I will admit I didn’t consider that the game might be rescheduled for public safety reasons - i.e. fans. They may move to Detroit.
We will tease this down to 34 if we do anything. Don’t have to bet it but fading weather is fun. SBF would say I provide market liquidity for the mo’s.

Friday is 2-3” inches an hour 2-3 feet. Snow til Saturday. It’ll be finished 24 hours before kickoff.
Buffalo is practicing outside right now.
Buffalo is practiced in street snow removal.
This game ain’t getting moved.
Am I gonna gamble the ploppies and sharps succumb to the clickbait videos and nonsense? I’m acting now. I’ll leave some ammo if I DO get my 40½.
I’ll tease down to 36
I have only one future other than Democratic Senate. Rams under 10½. I have taken a policy of no futures due to local market conditions but fading Rams was irresistible.

Local sports radio is such an easy play. Use it
Local podcasts about home teams too. They tend to be more critical. East coast is harshest and more honest and it trends to a more gay fan oriented deal as you move west. LA is the nadir of sports talk, of course.
I’ve ridiculed LA twice in snow conversation so I think I’ve met my quota

I have been a casual Los Angeles local sports talk radio listener off and on for 20 years. For good or bad There is very little criticism. It is mostly glowing or at worst glass half full talking about the dodgers and lakers in their respective seasons.
Despite 2 local professional teams Hockey doesn’t exist. Neither do the angels. Chargers and clippers are barely mentioned and even rams not much. USC football will get some press when they are contending for championships, so in recent years not much, although with good recent recruiting classes and a more modern coach there is optimism they will be back sooner rather than later.
I used to tune in to LA570AM (didn’t even have to look it up) after Dodger playoff losses. Old fashioned post game call in show. The crying and wailing. Nothing better.
Boston sports talk is the best. Even during the Brady years … criticism of Bob Kraft and Josh McDaniels (how’s that working out Raiders) etc etc. you’d think they had never won a game. Criticism of Brady.
Red Sox “Fellowship of the Miserable” ain’t what it used to be but they get ripped in good times and bad.
Lotta Bruins ball gargling but there are one or two beat reporters that ride their nuts hard. I succumb to the negativity sometimes. Bruins are 14-2. Lol.
I used to have a place on Cape Cod. I would spend the summer listening to WFAN (New York) and Yankees talk. It’s all I could get on radio. This was at the height of Red Sox Yankees rivalry. Yankees were savaged for hours on end. Hysterical. Really good.
Now I really hate to say it…. Dodgers Nation or Dodgers Blue Heaven is pretty good. One of the hosts, Doug McKain (DMAC_LA), is really really good radio (YouTube). Great pipes. Great presence. A Dodger ball gargler and eternal optimist but I recognize he is playing to his dopey LA audience. It’s an act. He has great potential in another market. Kid is a star.
I do get a lot of Dodger news from Dodgers Nation. I dismiss the conclusions they draw. Lotta stuff happening now as the Dodgers roster undergoes huge changes - for the worst.
I wonder sometimes if or when there will be a slight shift to a more frustrated, angry, cynical tone by LA hosts and audience. I suspect meth and cannabis prolly numbs up the locals and keeps ‘em mellow. Oh well.

Joe McDonnell of 20 years ago wouldn't have gone lightly on these Dodgers playoff fails.
Too bad he isn't around anymore. RIP
@simp
Can I use any or all of these as chalk for parlays.
Bruins
Jets
VGK (if Ingram is in net for Coyotes)
If Vejmelka is in net for Coyotes I might have to take the +320 vs VGK.
Devils +131 vs Leafs? That looks like a trap. I don’t understand
