I have watched way too many Stanford games this year, because they tend to be on at night when not much else on. They are really slow on defense. Most of their secondary is white, which is all you really need to say. I really dunno if Notre Dame has the personnel to exploit this. Oregon did, and it was a complete joke, although Stanford scored a bunch in garbage time to make the game look more respectable like they have been doing all season (in the 3 games they got blown out they scored 14+ points in the 4th Q). I kinda like Stanford and the over.

Those Oregon State teams have way more speed than ND does at the skill positions. I’ve been stunned at how little talent ND has for ND. They’re strength is their line, but it’s been below expectation. BYU is truly horribly coached. I lost a lot on them last week and their coach is a full blown retard. I put them on my banned list. Plus ND can’t put a team away coupled with Stanford’s propensity to score late feels like a back door cover at worst.
ND’s defense is pretty legit and I think Stanford will go max protect and score enough, but want to think on it.
I decided against going to Guardians tonight so I’m sure I’ll bet a lot throughout day. Just didn’t feel like dealing with the cold and the hotel prices were off the hook for Cleveland and Im never driving home from late game. Would have been a couple grand night between tickets and hotel to freeze my balls off.
All I have atm is Ole Miss -16.5. Very low end bet. Very public bet where line has moved from 14. Not a game I love to bet on. I just think they might finally put this Auburn coach out of his misery as they’re better on both sides of the ball.
I like your Illinois bet. That’s been on my radar. I think it’s possible they might be able to just jam it down Minny’s throat. That’s game I’d either buy the hook at 7 or bet the ML.

I can’t get a feel for this game. Tbh I’d bet Kansas or nothing just because of the enormous coaching disparity between the two. That backup looked fantastic when he came in, but give teams a week of film and it’s often different. The sharps may be right, but I’m not betting against that Kansas coach. As you wade more into CFB, you’re going to find yourself betting for, against, and avoiding certain coaches more than the NFL. NFL is player driven. It’s the lack of being serious NIL players already showing up. These programs get the same type of kids. Affluent white kid linemen and TE’s as far as high rated talent. Obviously ND has the cache to get a few more than Stanford, but if you look at the classes of Stanford up until Covid, they were top 20 every year. They shouldn’t be winless against BCS teams for a year. Shaw is just what he is. Jury still out on Marcus. I’m obviously really familiar with him forever being an Ohio kid and he’s coached up here at Kent and was a Buckeye assistant. I like his defensive gameplans, but idk if he has the talent. I just one of watch them and think they are incredibly average talent wise for a program like ND.
