NFL is in panic mode because of the Tua fiasco honestly. Problem is its not even the NFLs fault what happened.. That blame squarely lies on the Dolphins and their idiot staff. I also have to wonder how much money was slipped to that so called independent Neuro who cleared him after the first hit who was fired by the NFLPA shortly there after.

Thank goodness Todd didn’t bet that or I might have tailed.

Obv didn’t watch but from what I’ve seen and heard this morning penalties were never so random at critical times. Obv the roughing the quarterback penalty lulz.

First it was PI’s which killed the game for me. College 15 yards is far better. Another - what constitutes a catch?

I’ve long joked that football will be 7 man Texas league. I get there are health concerns and I don’t want anyone shooting themselves in the head at 45 cause CTE. Doesn’t mean I want to watch the new RANDOM product though.

Betting NFL isn’t very appealing either. Just triggers self loathing. I cannot get over how Druff never bet or discussed football for the decade I followed him - then wakes up and goes something like 18-2. We need to check the cameras - something ain’t right.

In the NHL playoffs quite often they put the whistles away and let them go at it. It's why the playoffs are so exciting to watch.

The NFL used to be that exciting the whole year. It was a barbaric sport....

As I look at myself from 20,000 feet I notice I’ve drifted almost completely from NFL and now am passionate about the NHL as a fan. Last 3 years I watch almost every night and prior to that I never watched. Tennis is another sport I follow and wager where I didn’t previously.

Basketball I dropped a few years ago with the stupid new foul rules and 3 point nonsense. I used to even listen to the NBA on the damn radio when I was younger for crying out loud. I did love it once. (cause television wasn’t invented yet)

I am a guy who really does vote with his feet. I can snap drop stuff and never look back.

    Mariners come out hot.

There may be something to the layoff extra day.

Astros spotted their opponent a lead all season though. Maddening if you bet them for sure. Nothing unusual.

So Cleveland and Padres? First to score?

You may have to take +1400 at this point. I’ll look around. Betonline opened him at 16 he quickly moved to 14. I was able to get a nickel on MGM & Cesars but they moved him shortly after I bet him. Ball striking was spot on in Presidents’s cup. Nerves are my concern. I think being in Japan will help him. He let me down last year but he’s still is one of the top iron players in the world. Putter is an issue, slower greens out there should help that a bit.
Welcome back me. Might as well start this motherfucker off with a 3 putt.

2-3. Leafs losing hurt and OV was 1 shot off of a great day.

I hate under 38s the same way I hate under 6.5s in MLB. Too easy to get fucked. Not enough wiggle room.

But I couldn't resist this one because I just couldn't see these two teams putting up a lot of points, from everything I was looking at. So far, so good... into the mid-2nd with big zeroes.

Better just not to watch and check the updates.

The fact you cant channel flip from Amazon Prime games to other sporting events on cable is a big problem. Going to be an especially big problem moving forward with NBA season, MLB playoffs and even college football. Even if it is a good game, unless I have a lot of money on it, I can't imagine bothering streaming the game on my main TV and locking into one thing. I guess I could stream from computer while watching other stuff on TV. But for a Bears/Redskins game I had no money on, didn't even have an interest to do that.

I actually caught the last couple minutes of the game. Obvious PI on 3rd down against Pettis, but what can you do? Also, it was notable how subdued the whole affair was, at least in the 10 minutes I watched. Except for when they chanted "Bullshit" the crowd didn't really seem into it, even as their team was driving to win the game. Also Michaels and Herbstreet were pretty subdued. I guess a 12-7 game (following a 12-9 game last week) will do that to you. I had just flipped from the West Virginia/Baylor game, which went down to the wire and the crowd was REALLY into it, and the difference was very noticeable.

I haven't seen any data to back this up, but I feel NFL scoring has taken a huge jump backwards this year. Except for Seahawks games, the totals of all the games are in the low 40s and I dont want to bet any of them. I remember a couple years ago the totals were mostly in the high 40s/low 50s.

    LOL.

This is INSANE. I have 2 bets tonight. Navy +12.5 for game and UTSA 2nd half -13.5.

Early in the 4th quarter UTSA is up by 4 touchdowns and scores to go up 2 TDS in the 2nd half, except they inexplicably go for 2 points up by 28 and dont get it. So now I am not covering by 0.5 points.

In the Navy game in the 3rd Q Navy cuts it to 13 at one point, and again they go for 2 and don't get it, making me not cover by 0.5 points. And late in the 4th It is looking very likely Navy is going to lose game by 13.

I am not exaggerating at all when I say teams I am backing are like 0-10 going for 2 this year. Most of the time it is in retarded spots, and half the time it has really cost me $$.

I am not going to lie. This is taking a lot of the fun out of it for me. It is not just the retarded going for 2, but the NEVER converting that really is a buzz kill. I am not joking when I say the conversion % overall (NFL and NCAAF) must be 20%, with the conversion % of teams I am backing much much much lower than that.

Edit: Looking EXTREMELY likely UTSA is going to win by exactly 13, so not converting a 2 pt conversion is going to cost me both bets. Insane. What a horrible way to start the weekend.

Jeff Bezos paid a Billion dollars for Thurs night football.

Prime started airing with the 2nd Thursday night game. In that 3 hour period Amazon had more Prime signups than at another other period in the history of the company.

Druff’s game ended halftime 0-0. I heard the last 45 drives to that point had yielded one single solitary touchdown.

    Complete NFL degenerates.

Trying to shake off my 3-5-1 start to NCAA, and that Hail Mary which fucked my Stanford ML bet (and made my day a loser).

Here are two games I like tomorrow:

    Utah -3.5 -108 vs USC
    Florida State +170 vs. Clemson

I can’t recall a Saturday where I like almost nothing. I’m sure I’ll bet shit, but nothing heavy and all I have are leans. Think maybe Stanford again. A straight up team like Notre Dame plays into their style better. They’ll lose, but around 17 seems a bit high. That ND team is still not good. Can’t figure out why Kansas-Oklahoma game is moving towards Oklahoma beyond tradition. By all available data, Kansas is better and shouldn’t be moving towards 10.
